Is the Splinterlands team actually capable of learning? New first come, first serve procedure after this led to major problems last year.

I wonder if the Splinterlands team is actually capable of learning?

Last year 3 land plots were sold on a first come, first serve basis, they sold out within seconds and the whole site crashed.

As if the Splinterlands team hadn't learned anything from it, 500 new summoners are to be awarded again on a first-come-first-served basis today at 18:00 CET (17:00 UTC).

The fact that tokens are now required in addition to the cryptocurrency SPS should not change much in my opinion, since there are certainly significantly more tokens in circulation than are needed for the 500 summoners.

I'm very excited to see what's happening today at 6:00 p.m. - What's your opinion?
