REASONS WHY PLAYERS QUIT SPLINTERLANDS

WHY PLAYERS QUIT

With the recent updates on the game, first was the credits replacing DEC for Novice-Bronze on daily chest rewards and end-of-season rewards and now, again a nerf update that made players furious.
You will earn credits instead of DEC on Novice-Bronze 3.
For you to start earning DEC (or SPS when it will be included as a reward in battle) you need to have at least 1,000 power on your cards and have an adequate rating to be in Bronze 2.

PLAYERS EXPECTED AN EASY ROI

The reality is that players expected to have immediate ROI and want a great income from a $10 investment without buying/investing for cards on their own accounts.
Players just want to stay at the lower leagues, get rewards cards and sell them immediately for fast income.
They don't realize the long-term goals for the game and the card values can go up in the future with the demands that we have knowing more and more players are joining the game.

THE EXPANSION

As we all know, lands are also sold out.
For you to obtain one, you need to buy it on the third-party markets.
Lands are not yet incorporated in the game and yet the prices are so high.
It was originally sold for $20 and now the cheapest is at $758.
It only shows that there is a lot of interest to own such lands.
These future expansions and updates are not being considered by these players and what they want is fast money for now.

MY TAKE ABOUT ALL THE UPDATES

I have no issue with all the implementation being done by the devs.
For me, what they are doing is to help the game be more stable in the coming years not just for now.

What do you think about players quitting the game?
Let me know your comments.

Is it good against Bots? Yes

Is it bad for new players who don't want to or can't throw hundreds or even thousands of $ into a game to climb the pay-wall? Yes
