We had the end of the first season in Splinterlands using the new rewards system, and indeed, a lot has changed. I will share with you how my rewards were and my earnings calculations throughout the season. I managed to finish the season in Champion III, but it took me more than 10 days to reach this league, which ended up affecting my average daily earnings, but it's already enough to calculate an average per season.

In the middle of the season, there was a change in the calculation of the Glint received at the end of the season, being 2x the value of all Glint received throughout the period. This earned me 140,000 Glints which were fully converted into cards. Although the absence of SPS in these rewards is quite sad, my daily earnings increased from 15 SPS to 35 SPS on average. In addition to receiving more than double, my rental costs also decreased due to the new prices practiced in the market, and any cost reductions are always welcome!

But now let's find out how my results were using the Glints to buy various different Draws. My goal was to spend exactly the amount received by distributing it among various levels of Draws. I enabled the use of potions for Veteran Draw, Elite Draw, and Master Draw, and disabled it for Initiate Draw and Adept Draw because doubling a tiny chance doesn't make much difference, and since we won't earn potions in chests anymore, it's quite prudent to optimize their use to last as long as possible.

And this was my distribution to spend all the Glint received at the end of the season:

  • 10 Master Draws for 50,000 Glints;
  • 10 Elite Draws for 25,000 Glints;
  • 10 Veteran Draws for 10,000 Glints;
  • 10 Adept Draws for 4,000 Glints;
  • 10 Initiate Draws for 1,500 Glints;
  • 10 Elite Draws for 37,500 Glints (Batch 2);
  • 8 Veteran Draws for 12,000 Glints (Batch 2);
  • 3 Initiate Draws for 675 Glints (Batch 2);
  • TOTAL: 140,675.

The result was satisfactory, but it's difficult to quantify the profit from these chests, after all, none of the cards are tradable (RIP NFTs 😅). Follow each of the rewards acquired in their respective Draws:

10 Master Draws

10 Elite Draws

10 Veteran Draws

10 Adept Draws

10 Initiate Draws

10 Elite Draws (Batch 2)

8 Veteran Draws (Batch 2)

3 Initiate Draws (Batch 2)

Although it's a small sample (it's only the first season, there will be many others to compare), it's noticeable that the level of the Draw has a significant impact on the cards obtained. Doing some rough calculations, if I consider that previously I received an average of 200 SPS per end of season (some were more, some less) and 15 SPS per day, my final result would be approximately 425 SPS considering 15 days of the season.

In the new system, my average is approximately 525 SPS per season. We can say that considering only wins + end of season rewards, the new system is advantageous, but we still have to remember that before I could open approximately 6~8 diamond chests per day, and now it's limited to 1~2 Elite Draws. Since luck is removed from this equation, it's very difficult to give a final verdict on the rewards, but the fact is that I had a very satisfactory season with my rewards, and I hope the next one is even better!

  • 10 Master Draws por 50.000 Glints;
  • 10 Elite Draws por 25.000 Glints;
  • 10 Veteran Draws por 10.000 Glints;
  • 10 Adept Draws por 4.000 Glints;
  • 10 Initiate Draws por 1.500 Glints;
  • 10 Elite Draws por 37.500 Glints (Batch 2);
  • 8 Veteran Draws por 12.000 Glints (Batch 2);
  • 3 Initiate Draws por 675 Glints (Batch 2);
  • TOTAL: 140.675.

Thanks for sharing the draws!
Though a small sample size, it gives a glimpse of what to expect 👍

You got two legendaries from two of your draws, I can say that you might have gotten more from the last season, but well, it's not a bad outcome at all. I didn't get any legendaries at all, and I ended up burning some cards I don't need anymore
