A regra de combate Heavy Hitters é uma das mais ignoradas nas partidas de Splinterlands que eu jogo. Talvez o fato de depender da sorte para aplicar o Stun ou a falta de possuir as cartas adequadas para fazer uso dessa regra seja o principal motivo dos jogadores. Dentre as cartas da minha coleção sempre há uma ou duas cartas de cada elemento para executar esse papel mas nem sempre é possível utilizá-las devido às outras condições de combate, tudo isso torna muito situacional o uso adequado dessa regra de combate.

Mesmo assim há muitas opções de cartas que possuem a habilidade Stun que serão muito úteis ao seu time quando houver a regra Heavy Hitters, então é bom conhecê-las e analisar a possibilidade de comprar ou alugar as que acrescentarem valor à sua coleção.

Caso você seja um jogador iniciante e não saiba o que essa habilidade e a regra de combate fazem, esse é o efeito de ambas:

  • Stun : Quando um Monstro com Stun atinge um alvo, ele tem a chance de atordoar o alvo fazendo com que ele pule seu próximo turno. 50% de chance de ativação.

  • Heavy Hitters : Todas as unidades ganham a habilidade Knock Out.

  • Knock Out : Causa o dobro de dano ao atacar um inimigo atordoado.

A ideia é aplicar o atordoamento no inimigo e eliminá-lo rapidamente causando o dobro de dano com as suas outras cartas, mas para executar isso é importante que sua carta com Stun tenha uma boa velocidade para atacar antes e dependerá da sorte para o efeito ser ativado (50%).

Agora que todos sabemos quais são os critérios importantes para otimizar o uso dessa regra, vamos observá-la na prática!

Battle.

Nessa partida o Revealer é a minha carta de gatilho para o combo e é garantido que ele ataque antes de pelo menos três unidades. Já na primeira rodada o atordoamento foi aplicado com sucesso e isso permitiu que minhas cartas causassem o dobro de dano. Infelizmente o Ravenhood Warden errou seu ataque, caso ele tivesse acertado a vida do Golem seria totalmente dizimada pelos meus outros dois atacantes.

As rodadas seguintes também foram acompanhadas de muita sorte pois todos os ataques do Revealer aplicaram o Stun , gerando uma vantagem significativa para o meu time. O ataque do Ravenhood se tornou suficiente para quebrar a armadura e isso possibilitava o dano direto do Harklaw na vida do inimigo. Foram várias vantagens geradas pelo dano dobrado e consequentemente o time inimigo foi rapidamente eliminado.

Essa partida me fez perceber o incrivel potencial que essa regra de combate possui e tentarei elaborar composições mais eficientes nas próximas oportunidades. E você, tem usado o Stun para tirar vantagem dessa regra ou apenas ignora ela em suas partidas?

The combat rule Heavy Hitters is one of the most ignored in the games of Splinterlands that I play. Perhaps the fact that it depends on luck to apply the Stun or the lack of having the appropriate cards to make use of this rule is the main reason for the players. Among the cards in my collection there are always one or two cards of each element to perform this role but it is not always possible to use them due to the other combat conditions, all this makes the proper use of this combat rule very situational.

Even so there are many options of cards that have the ability Stun that will be very useful to your team when there is the Heavy Hitters rule, so it is good to know them and analyze the possibility of buy or rent the ones that add value to your collection.

In case you are a beginner player and don't know what this skill and the combat rule do, this is the effect of both:

  • Stun : When a Monster with Stun hits a target, it has a chance to stun the target causing it to skip its next turn. 50% chance to activate.

  • Heavy Hitters : All units gain the Knock Out ability.

  • Knock Out : Does double damage when attacking an enemy that is stunned.

The idea is to apply the stun on the enemy and eliminate it quickly by causing double damage with your other cards, but to execute this it is important that your card with Stun has a good speed to attack before and will depend on luck for the effect to be activated (50%).

Now that we all know what are the important criteria to optimize the use of this rule, let's observe it in practice!

Battle.

In this match the Revealer is my trigger card for the combo and it is guaranteed to attack before at least three units. Already in the first round the stun was successfully applied and this allowed my cards to deal double damage. Unfortunately the Ravenhood Warden missed his attack, had he hit the Golem's life would have been totally decimated by my other two attackers.

The following rounds were also accompanied by a lot of luck as all of the Revealer's attacks applied the Stun , generating a significant advantage for my team. Ravenhood's attack became enough to break the armor and this enabled the direct damage of the Harklaw on the enemy's life. There were several advantages generated by the doubled damage and consequently the enemy team was quickly eliminated.

This match made me realize the incredible potential that this combat rule has and I will try to elaborate more efficient compositions in the next opportunities. And you, have you been using the Stun to take advantage of this rule or just ignore it in your matches?

Believe me, the Mycelius was the protection your opponent had, without that armour, they're directly subjected to your attack. I felt your chances would have even been higher with having sneak attack.
