HIGHLIGHT: EQUALIZER + MAGIC REFLECT - SPLINTERLANDS [PT-BR/ENG]

INTRODUÇÃO

Com objetivo de conquistar o emblema Weekly Author no Hivebuzz eu decidi fazer um highlight por dia mostrando algumas composições ou estratégias de Splinterlands que podem te fazer vencer partidas utilizando combos ou se aproveitando das regras de combate.

Os invocadores de Morte sempre visam afetar negativamente as cartas do oponente e o invocador Owster Rotwell faz isso distribuindo a habilidade Magic Reflect para todo o seu time. No Highlight de hoje eu mostro uma simples combinação que pode potencializar bastante o uso desse invocador. Espero que gostem deste conteúdo!

HIGHLIGHT: EQUALIZER + MAGIC REFLECT

Neste confronto apenas metade da composição do oponente era composto por unidades mágicas, porém haviam duas unidades físicas que também estavam sendo debuffadas por minha Octopider devido a habilidade Demoralize .

Mesmo assim o fato desses magos sofrerem dano sempre que atacam em uma partida que durará muitos turnos (devido a alta vida distribuída pelo Equalizer) fará com que eles praticamente se matem antes mesmo de serem alvejados pelas minhas cartas.

Se você deseja se sair bem em partidas de Equalizer em que há grandes chances da vida ser muito alta é extremamente importante se focar em habilidades de resistência e de dano contínuo. Algumas habilidades que são perfeitas nesses casos são a Blast Poison Magic Reflect Thorns e outras.

Outro ponto crucial para partidas com Equalizer distribuindo uma altíssima vida é focar o máximo possível em apenas uma unidade. Se mitigar seu dano entre 3 ou 4 alvos é provável que você perca sem eliminar nenhuma unidade do oponente, então limite-se a apenas dois focos para assim garantir que as unidades do oponente morram mais rapidamente.

DETALHANDO MINHA ESTRATÉGIA

Meu objetivo era ter uma partida com alta vida e foi por isso que escolhi o Goblin Mech como linha de frente (era minha melhor opção considerando a ausência das cartas lendárias) e felizmente meu oponente veio com um Tank com vida ainda maior.

Eu quis dividir meus ataques em dois: na primeira e na última unidade. Fiz isso escolhendo quatro cartas para atacar a linha de frente e 2 Sneaks com alto dano. Meu plano não deu muito certo no começo pois o Tank inimigo controlou o campo através do Taunt mas essa decisão também acelerou sua morte por conta do alto dano das minhas unidades unidas.

DICA IMPORTANTE: Sempre que for possível acrescente cartas que tenham habilidades úteis de dano ao longo do tempo em batalhas que durarão muitos rounds. Ao invés de escolher a Silent Sha-vi eu poderia ter pego a Uraeus que apesar de ter -1 de dano e -2 de velocidade a chance de ativar a habilidade Poison aumentaria bastante o dano por turno causado por esta unidade ao longo dos vários rounds.

Tirando este detalhe minha composição funcionou exatamente como eu queria. Minhas unidades tiveram muita facilidade em eliminar o Tank inimigo e posteriormente se dividiram entra primeira e a última. Ao mesmo tempo os três magos do oponente estavam autoinflingindo dano devido ao Magic Reflect e isso fez com que eu conseguisse causar dano em TODAS as unidades do oponente em um único round.

E reparem em um detalhe: no round 4 eu já havia perdido duas unidades e meu oponente apenas uma. Geralmente isso significa vantagem para o inimigo, mas como minha composição foi pensada em dano distribuído estratégicamente a coisa foi mudando a cada round que se passava, resultando na amarga derrota do meu adversário.

A ideia foi mostrar uma das maneiras de utilizar a habilidade Magic Reflect e o quanto ela combina com a regra Equalizer , então a estrela que devemos ficar de olho para colocarmos em nossa coleção para executar esse combo algum dia é o invocador!

O level do invocador depende das suas cartas à disposição e da liga em que joga, se tornando um assunto individual de cada player. De qualquer maneira esse invocador pode fazer coisas que poucos podem e o fato de não ser tão frequente nas ranqueadas te possibilita pegar oponentes desprevinidos com suas composições totalmente mágicas.

CONSIDERAÇÕES FINAIS

Partidas que tendem a durar muito rounds são bem perigosas e os mínimos detalhes fazem toda a diferença. Escolher boas habilidades nessa ocasião é crucial para desbalancear o combate ao seu favor.

Dica extra: se possível pegue uma unidade com Affliction para evitar as composições focadas totalmente na cura que são comuns nos confrontos com Equalizer .

INTRODUCTION

In order to earn the Weekly Author badge on Hivebuzz I decided to do a highlight a day showing some compositions or strategies from Splinterlands that can make you win matches using combos or taking advantage of combat rules.

Death summoners always aim to negatively affect opponent cards and summoner Owster Rotwell does this by distributing the skill Magic Reflect for your entire team. In today's Highlight I show a simple combination that can greatly enhance the use of this summoner. Hope you like this content!

HIGHLIGHT: EQUALIZER + MAGIC REFLECT

In this confrontation, only half of the opponent's composition was composed of magic units, but there were two physical units that were also being debuffed by my Octopider due to the Demoralize skill .

Even so, the fact that these mages take damage whenever they attack in a game that will last many turns (due to the high health distributed by the Equalizer) will make them practically kill themselves before they are even targeted by my cards.

If you want to do well in Equalizer games where there is a high chance of health being very high it is extremely important to focus on resistance and ongoing damage skills. Some abilities that are perfect in these cases are Blast Poison Magic Reflect Thorns and others.

Another crucial point for Equalizer matches distributing a very high health is to focus as much as possible on just one unit. If mitigating your damage between 3 or 4 targets you are likely to lose without eliminating any of the opponent's units, so limit yourself to just two focuses to ensure that the opponent's units die faster.

DETAILING MY STRATEGY

My goal was to have a high health match and that's why I chose Goblin Mech as the frontline (it was my best option considering the lack of legendary cards) and luckily my opponent came with a Tank with even higher health.

I wanted to split my attacks in two: the first and the last unit. I did this by choosing 4 cards to attack the frontline and 2 Sneaks with high damage. My plan didn't work out very well at first as the enemy Tank controlled the field through Taunt but this decision also accelerated his death due to the high damage of my units united.

IMPORTANT TIP: Whenever possible, add cards that have useful damage over time abilities in battles that will last many rounds. Instead of choosing Silent Sha-vi I could have taken Uraeus that despite having -1 damage and -2 speed the chance to activate the Poison skill would greatly increase the damage per turn caused by this unit over the various rounds.

Apart from this detail my composition worked exactly as I wanted. My units were very easy to eliminate the enemy Tank and later split into first and last. At the same time the opponent's three mages were self inflicting damage due to Magic Reflect and this made me able to cause damage to ALL opponent's units in a single round.

And notice a detail: in round 4 I had already lost two units and my opponent only one. Usually this means an advantage for the enemy, but as my composition was thought of strategically distributed damage, the thing changed with each passing round, resulting in the bitter defeat of my opponent.

The idea was to show one of the ways to use the Magic Reflect skill and how well it matches the Equalizer rule , so the star we owe keep an eye out for us to put in our collection to perform this combo someday is the summoner!

The summoner's level depends on their available cards and the league they play in, becoming an individual matter for each player. Anyway this summoner can do things that few can and the fact that it is not so frequent in ranked allows you to catch opponents off guard with your totally magical compositions.

FINAL CONSIDERATIONS

Matches that tend to last a lot of rounds are very dangerous and the smallest details make all the difference. Choosing good skills on this occasion is crucial to unbalance the combat in your favor.

Extra tip: if possible get a unit with Affliction to avoid the all-healing comps that are common in Equalizer encounters .
