Luck in my favor ⚔ Splinterlands

Quero começar dizendo que você nunca deve depender totalmente da sorte, afinal a sorte é um fator aleatório que nunca estará 100% ao seu favor (a menos que você possua o pé de coelho de Sobrenatural) portanto sempre trace suas estratégias utilizando todos os recursos que possui para aumentar suas chances de vencer pois somente asism nós conseguiremos avançar no Splinterlands.

Ultimamente as coisas não tem sido fáceis para mim, as batalhas estão se tornando cada vez mais difíceis e os oponentes estão muito mais fortes do que eu estava acostumado. Conforme mencionado neste post haviam algumas alternativas que eu poderia optar, porém resolvi não fazer nada até que a proposta que retira os bots da Modern Ranked seja implementada e eu possa ver quais serão os seus impactos nos meus jogos.

Caso as recompensas da Wild Ranked caiam muito ou se os jogos permanecerem tão difíceis quanto estão hoje, então provavelmente eu irei migrar para o Modern. Porém caso as recompensas caiam um pouco mas os jogos se tornem mais fáceis por conta dos bots então é possível que eu continue tentando nogar no Wild pois eu gosto muito de ter acesso à todas as cartas e seria como arrancar uma parte do meu corpo ter que mudar de ranked.

Voltando agora ao assunto principal do post, durante uma partida comum que possuía a regra Explosive Weaponry eu decidi por utilizar minha composição padrão de Água com muitas cartas de dano mágico e o Tide Biter na segunda posição para reduzir todo o dano do Blast com seu Reflection Shield . Esta é uma composição que eu utilizo duas cartas com Swiftness para garantir que minhas cartas irão atacar primeiro que o oponente, conseguir atacar antes junto do Blast possibilitaria que meu time praticamente acabasse com todo o time inimigo antes de ser atingido, porém...

Battle.

Meu oponente quebrou todas as minhas expectativas de atacar primeiro ao montar um time com várias cartas de altíssima velocidade que também foram buffadas 2 vezes por Swiftness e pela velocidade monstruosa que o Conqueror Jacek ditribui para todo o time. Se meu time fosse composto por cartas de dano físico a partida já estaria completamente perdida pois as minhas cartas nem seriam capazes de acertar os ataques, mas felizmente eu escolhi o dano mágico e a sorte estava ao meu favor.

A habilidade Scattershot que é distribuída pelo Jacek geralmente é uma habilidade negativa mas em um contexto em que a regra Explosive Weaponry está presente tudo muda. Apenas alguns ataques acertando a backline poderiam ser suficientes para eliminar o Ruler of the Seas e o Doctor Blight, mas o oponente deu o azar de todos os ataques Rangeds terem sido contra o Lord Arianthus. Sendo um tank ele conseguiu sobreviver aos ataques de todas as cartas do inimigo e o Reflection Shield do Tide Biter foi extremamente efetivo ao evitar todo o dano que seria causado pelo Blast .

De alguma forma sobrenatural o Lord Arianthus atraiu todos os ataques e isso resultou em um controle significativo dos danos que o inimigo poderia ser causado. Depois de utilizar toda a sua velocidade para atacar primeiro, chegou a vez das minhas cartas atacarem. Diferente de mim o oponente não escolheu nenhuma carta com Reflection Shield pois sua estratégia era totalmente ofensiva. Estando sem defesas as minhas unidades conseguiram causar todo o dano explosivo e eliminando três cartas nesse processo. Apesar de ainda ter sobrado metade do time inimigo havia apenas uma carta capaz de causar dano portanto a partida a partir desse ponto já estava garantida.

essa composição de cartas mágicas é simplesmente sensacional e funciona na maioria das partidas, me sinto extremamente confortável utilizando essas cartas e é sempre bom ver que funciona (apesar de depender da sorte em determinadas ocasições). O que vocês acharam dessa batalha?

I want to start by saying that you should never totally depend on luck, luck is a random factor that will never be 100% in your favor (unless you have the rabbit's foot from Supernatural) so always strategize using all the resources you have to increase your chances of winning because only then can we advance in Splinterlands.

Lately things have not been easy for me, the battles are getting harder and harder and the opponents are much stronger than I am used to. As mentioned in this post there were a few alternatives I could choose from, however I decided not to do anything until the proposal that removes bots from Modern Ranked is implemented and I can see what its impacts will be on my games.

Should the rewards of Wild Ranked drop too much or if the games remain as difficult as they are today, then I will probably migrate to Modern. However if the rewards drop a bit but the games become easier because of the bots then it is possible that I will keep trying to play Wild because I really like having access to all the cards and it would be like tearing out a part of my body to have to change ranked.

Now back to the main subject of the post, during an ordinary match that had the Explosive Weaponry rule I decided to use my standard Water composition with lots of magic damage cards and the Tide Biter in the second position to reduce all the damage of the Blast with its Reflection Shield . This is a composition that I use two cards with Swiftness to ensure that my cards will attack first than the opponent, being able to attack earlier along with Blast would enable my team to practically wipe out the entire enemy team before being hit, however...

Battle.

My opponent broke all my expectations of attacking first by assembling a team with several very high speed cards that were also buffed twice by Swiftness and the monstrous speed that the Conqueror Jacek gives to the whole team. If my team was composed of physical damage cards, the match would be completely lost because my cards wouldn't even be able to hit the attacks, but fortunately I chose magic damage and luck was in my favor.

The Scattershot ability that is dealt by Jacek is usually a negative ability but in a context where the Explosive Weaponry rule is present everything changes. Just a few attacks hitting the backline could be enough to eliminate Ruler of the Seas and Doctor Blight, but the opponent was unlucky that all the Rangeds attacks were against Lord Arianthus. Being a tank he managed to survive the attacks of all the enemy's cards and the Reflection Shield of Tide Biter was extremely effective in avoiding all the damage that would be done by Blast .

In some supernatural way the Lord Arianthus drew all the attacks and this resulted in significant damage control that the enemy could be dealt. After using all his speed to attack first, it was my cards turn to attack. Unlike me the opponent did not choose any cards with Reflection Shield as his strategy was totally offensive. Being without defenses my units managed to do all the explosive damage and eliminating three cards in the process. Although there was still half of the enemy team left there was only one card capable of causing damage so the match from that point on was already secured.

this composition of magic cards is simply sensational and works in most matches, I feel extremely comfortable using these cards and it is always nice to see that it works (although it depends on luck at times). What did you think of this battle?

Amazing post. I don't know about the removal of bots from modern. My main concern is if people can still be able to play and not schedule their battle, this is my fear.
I think Jacek is mostly good because of the speed, if you manage to withstand it's speed just like you've done, then it's possible to win. Your summoner is also a strong one. I think the battle was really entertaining. On splinterlands, luck is just not enough.

I also have some concerns but I prefer to wait and see what will happen. One thing I do know is that if changes are made and the results are not good, the team will do their best to move in a different direction.
