Managing Your SPS Income
Eu comecei a fazer meus cálculos para verificar quais seriam as possibilidades mais viáveis para investir nas novidades que chegaram com a Edição Rebellion. A primeira opção obviamente seria comprar packs utilizando DEC 
e os Vouchers que acumulei ao longo dos últimos 2 anos, mas aproveitando esse momento em que estava fazendo vários cálculos envolvendo minha conta no Splinterlands, eu decidi que seria uma ótima hora para rever a maneira como eu acompanho meus rendimentos de SPS 
para identificar se existe uma maneira mais acertíva de fazer esse acompanhamento, então hoje irei compartilhar com vocês os resultados que obtive dessa pesquisa.
Primeiro, deixe-me explicar como eu faço a minha gestão de criptomoedas utilizando o Portfólio da Coingecko. Ao fazer seu login você poderá acessar a aba Meu Portfólio e criar um novo para adicionar qualquer criptomoeda que esteja listada nesse site. Como a minha carteira oficial ainda está desatualizada, irei utilizar uma nova como exemplo.
Clicando em Add New Coin e digitando SPS ele aparecerá como primeira opção, basta clicar e esse ativo já será adicionado ao seu portfólio. Agora chegou a hora de fazer o registro das entradas e saídas. Eu prefiro fazer esse controle da maneira mais simples possível, fazendo apenas 3 tipos de anotações:
- Entradas de capital;
- Saídas de capital;
- Rendimentos (incluindo staking e recompensas de batalhas).
Com essas informações adicionadas o seu portfólio ficará semelhante à esta imagem (todos os dados são números fictícios apenas para exemplificação):
Como os rendimentos são ganhos "de graça" você deve se lembrar de zerar o valor de compra da cripto pois desta forma tudo será considerado lucro. Neste exemplo o meu resultado atual é de $95,43 positivos, porém existem alguns outros detalhes importantes. Para calcular o rendimento de maneira fácil, você pode adotar o seguinte cálculo:
XAgora verifique a quantia total de SPS que você possui dentro do jogo e subtraia pelo resultado de X calculado anteriormente, vamos exemplificar novamente para facilitar. Considere que eu comprei 40.000 e vendi 10.000, meu valor de X seria 30.000 SPS .
47.379,854 - 30.000 = 17.379,854 SPS
Essa seria a quantidade de SPS que eu acumulei ao longo do tempo adquirido apenas dos rendimentos do staking e das recompensas de vitórias e baús. Lembre-se que esse seria o rendimento bruto, afinal você provavelmente teve custos em DEC para pagar pelo aluguel de cartas ou de SPS , então se você quiser ter um resultado mais próximo da realidade, é necessário subtrair todos os seus gastos com a manutenção da conta ao longo desse período para obter o resultado líquido dos seus rendimentos.
Dentro do é possível baixar todo o histórico de movimentações fazendo a personalização do período desejado, esse recurso é extremamente útil mas eu não consegui utilizá-lo pois há muitas informações não relevantes que precisam ser filtradas, como meu objetivo principal é agilidade eu desisti de trabalhar com essa planilha, mas caso você goste de organizar cálculos em planilhas, essa ferramenta será sua aliada!
Fazer esse controle permite que você tenha mais consciência sobre o desenvolvimento financeiro da sua conta, se suas operações estão sendo lucrativas ou dando prejuízo e esses dados podem te ajudar à tomar melhores decisões. No meu caso, minhas compras de SPS foram feitas quando ele estava custando um preço maior, mas ao considerar os rendimento a maior parte desse prejuízo é amenizada (porém continuo no negativo), e acredito que em 2024 o mercado começará a melhorar e meu portfólio voltará a ficar positivo, enquanto isso farei as minhas atualizações para saber quais devem ser meus próximos passos visando sempre tomar as melhores decisões focando no longo prazo!

I started doing my calculations to check which would be the most viable possibilities for investing in the new features that arrived with the Rebellion Edition. The first option, obviously, would be to buy packs using DEC and the Vouchers I've accumulated over the past 2 years. But taking advantage of this moment when I was doing various calculations involving my account on Splinterlands, I decided it would be a great time to review how I track my earnings in SPS to identify if there's a more accurate way to do this tracking. So today, I will share with you the results I obtained from this research.
First, let me explain how I manage my cryptocurrencies using Coingecko's Portfolio. When you log in, you can access the My Portfolio tab and create a new one to add any cryptocurrency listed on the site. Since my official wallet is still outdated, I'll use a new one as an example.
Clicking on Add New Coin and typing SPS will make it the first option, just click it, and that asset will be added to your portfolio. Now it's time to record the ins and outs. I prefer to keep this simple by making only three types of notes:
- Capital inflows;
- Capital outflows;
- Earnings (including staking and battle rewards).
With this information added, your portfolio will look similar to this image (all data are fictitious for illustration purposes only):
Since earnings are gained "for free", you should remember to zero out the purchase value of the crypto because this way, everything will be considered profit. In this example, my current result is $95.43 positive, but there are some other important details. To calculate earnings easily, you can use the following calculation:
XNow check the total amount of SPS you have in the game and subtract it from the result of X calculated earlier. Let's illustrate this again for clarity. Suppose I bought 40,000 and sold 10,000; my X value would be 30,000 SPS .

This would be the amount of SPS I've accumulated over time, acquired only from staking and battle rewards. Remember that this is the gross earnings, as you probably had expenses in DEC to pay for card rentals or SPS . So, if you want a result closer to reality, you need to subtract all your account maintenance costs during this period to get the net result of your earnings.
In the tool, you can download the entire transaction history by customizing the desired period. This feature is extremely useful, but I couldn't use it because there are many irrelevant pieces of information that need to be filtered. Since my main goal is agility, I gave up on working with this spreadsheet. However, if you like organizing calculations in spreadsheets, this tool will be your ally!
Keeping this control allows you to have a better understanding of the financial development of your account, whether your operations are profitable or causing losses. In my case, my purchases of SPS were made when it was priced higher, but considering the earnings, most of this loss is mitigated (though I'm still in the negative). I believe that in 2024, the market will start to improve, and my portfolio will turn positive again. In the meantime, I'll make updates to determine my next steps, always focusing on the long term!

Great idea to use an established currency tracker to monitor your +/- value over time. I also put my first three initial SPS buys into Coin Gecko when I was first getting started with Splinterlands in late 2021 and early 2022.
I do love a good spreadsheet, so this makes a lot of sense to start to track ALL the net inflows/outflows on a weekly, seasonal (bi-weekly), or monthly time period. I guess I will have to make some sense of the raw data before deciding the best way to track it going forward. Thanks again for sharing your tracking methods.
