Additionally, Blood and Sunder played its part, removing the armor from two opponent cards that were left with their Lives completely exposed and ready to be eliminated by the furious attacks of Coastal and Kulu Swimhunter.

Hoje o foco será em abordar duas rulesets e uma habilidade que foram recentemente adicionadas e incrementaram novas possibilidades estratégicas para o jogo.

Maneuvers.Blood and Sunder.Corrosive Ward.

A primeira é a ruleset Maneuvers que dá a todas as cartas em campo a habilidade Reach . Apesar de ser uma regra com uso limitado (afinal só é efetiva na carta que está na segunda posição), ela pode ser utilizada extremamente bem se você souber escolher uma carta muito forte para fazer uso desse efeito.

A segunda ruleset que abordarei nesse post é a Blood and Sunder que faz um efeito semelhante à anterior, mas a habilidade distribuída é a Corrosive Ward . Essa habilidade também é nova e quem possuí-la, ao receber um ataque Corpo a Corpo removerá 2 de Armadura atual e máxima do atacante. Esse efeito é ótimo para lidar com as defesas do oponente antes mesmo deles se tornarem alvos dos seus ataques, facilitando em sua eliminação.

Hoje eu joguei uma partida que ambas as rulesets vieram juntas, isso me possibilitou testar a eficácia das duas em uma única partida, então vamos acompanhar o desempenho dessas novidades na minha batalha.

Batalha.

Com certeza uma das cartas mais fortes para se combar com a Maneuvers é a Coastal Sentry, afinal não é todo dia que vemos uma carta capaz de causar 8 de dano em uma rodada e ainda trespassar armaduras com seu Piercing . Utilizando todo esse poder ofensivo somado à capacidade de atacar da segunda posição, a Coastal fez a festa nessa partida e causou muito dano, eliminando o Cursed Windeku no início da segunda rodada. Além disso a Blood and Sunder fez sua parte, removendo a armadura de duas cartas do adversário que ficaram com suas Vidas totalmente expostas e prontas para serem eliminadas pelos ataques furiosos da Coastal e do Kulu Swimhunter.

Utilizando bem os efeitos das duas rulesets, meu time conseguiu executar a estratégia perfeitamente e isso me garantiu uma vitória tranquila nesse confronto. Isso nos mostra que cada ruleset sempre tem sua oportunidade de brilhar, basta escolhermos a carta certa para combar esses efeitos e criar uma estratégia com altas chances de vitória.
