MODERN & WILD RANKEDS - SPLINTERLANDS [PT-BR/ENG]

INTRODUÇÃO

No dia 14/07/2022 finalmente saiu a tão esperada atualização de Splinterlands onde as partidas ranqueadas foram divididas entre duas categorias: moderna e selvagem. Como isso irá impactar nossas vidas?

O post de hoje é para falar um pouco sobre isso baseando apenas nas minhas opiniões pessoais, então se vocês possuírem visões diferentes, sintam-se convidados a colocá-las na aba dos comentários para desenvolvermos um debate saudável.

RANQUEADAS MODERNAS & SELVAGENS

A explicação sobre a diferença entre esses dois modos já foi dita nas postagens oficiais anteriormente, mas em resumo a diferença são as edições disponíveis e o Poder requerido.

• Moderno: todas as cartas associadas às edições Chaos Legion e Untamed.
• Poder: a liga moderna requer METADE do poder da liga selvagem.

• Selvagem: todas as cartas de todas as edições do jogo.
• Poder: Valor padrão que tínhamos anteriormente.

Na teoria acreditamos que os jogadores novos vão migrar para a ranked moderna enquanto os mais antigos ficarão na selvagem para se aproveitar de suas coleções já estruturada, mas não necessariamente isso será certo pois muitos fatores variáveis podem afetar isso.

Um desses fatores é para onde os bots vão. Existem diferentes tipos de bots e imaginamos que a maioria vá jogar na ranked moderna. Isso fará com que ela possua muito mais players extraindo a pool de recompensas, resultando em menores ganhos no formato moderno.

Se isso realmente acontecer é possível que os jogadores que já são mais adaptados ao estilo de jogo convencional se aventurem na ranked selvagem para buscar melhores recompensas.

Esse com certeza seria o melhor resultado na minha opinião, pois deixaríamos os bots disputarem uma pool enquanto os jogadores de verdade disputam outra. Claro que as coisas não são 8/80 então é possível que no fim vire apenas uma grande mistura.

VANTAGENS DA RANKED MODERNA

Ter apenas metade do gasto com Power te possibilita realizar um investimento maior em cartas para o combate. Além disso as cartas das edições mais recentes tendem a ser relativamente mais baratas que as antigas (existem exceções). Dessa forma será bem mais barato jogar nesse modo, o que pode atrair jogadores menos experientes (e talvez os bots).

Infelizmente essa dupla não combina muito bem, afinal jogadores novatos vão estar querendo aprender sobre o jogo e enfrentar máquinas que calculam as melhores composições torna a disputa algo um pouco injusto, então acredito que ainda precisam ser revistas algumas ideias para tornar o Splinterlands um ambiente mais amigável aos novos jogadores.

De qualquer maneira esse modo permitirá que você não precise lidar com cartas absurdamente poderosas e de altíssimo level que alguns jogadores mais antigos possuem (mas isso não exclui a possibilidade deles irem jogar com as cartas Untamed absurdamente poderosas e de altíssimo level 🤣).

VANTAGENS DA RANKED SELVAGEM

Acredito que este será o modo mais "justo" para se jogar após esse primeiro período de adaptação, pois conforme mais e mais pessoas forem migrando para o modo Moderno, a pool de recompensas do modo Selvagem ficará será distribuído para um menor número de jogadores que se arriscarem nas batalhas com todas as edições disponíveis.

Como nós sempre jogamos com todas elas, acredito que os jogadores mais experientes (mesmo aqueles que não possuam uma grande coleção) irão ficar no modo Selvagem caso as recompensas sejam melhores.

REAÇÃO DO GRÁFICO SPS

Apesar do movimento bem semelhante ao BTC (algo extremamente comum com todas as Altcoins),no horário em que a atualização foi completada, o SPS realizou uma subida um pouco maior, além de ter um aumento bem interessante no volume de negociações.

Isso mostra que mesmo todas as Altcoins sejam extremamente ligadas às movimentações do Bitcoin, essa atualização tão esperada de Splinterlands realmente trouxe ânimo para os investidores voltarem à movimentar SPS.

CONSIDERAÇÕES FINAIS

Esperamos que no longo prazo e com a vinda de novas atualizações as coisas continuem melhorando e que caminhem na direção de um longo prazo sustentável e que o jogo se torne cada vez mais divertido, pois ser um ótimo jogo o torna um ótimo investimento.

INTRODUCTION

On 7/14/2022, the long-awaited update of Splinterlands finally came out, where ranked matches were divided between two categories: modern and wild. How will this impact our lives?

Today's post is to talk a little about it based only on my personal opinions, so if you have different views, feel invited to put them in the comments tab so we can develop a healthy debate.

MODERN & WILD RANKED

The explanation of the difference between these two modes has already been said in the official posts before, but in summary the difference is the available edits and the Power required.

• Modern: all cards associated with the Chaos Legion and Untamed editions.
• Power: the modern league requires HALF the power of the wild league.

• Wild: all cards from all editions of the game.
• Power: Default value we had previously.

In theory we believe that new players will migrate to the modern ranked while older ones will stay in the wild to take advantage of their already structured collections, but this is not necessarily true as many variable factors can affect this.

One of those factors is where the bots go. There are different types of bots and we imagine that most will play in the modern ranked. This will make her have a lot more players extracting the reward pool, resulting in lower gains in the modern format.

If this really happens, it is possible that players who are already more adapted to the conventional style of play will venture into the wild ranked to seek better rewards.

This would definitely be the best result in my opinion, as we would let bots play in one pool while real players play in another. Of course things aren't 8/80 so it's possible that in the end it's just a big mix.

ADVANTAGES OF MODERN RANKED

Having only half the cost of Power allows you to make a greater investment in cards for combat. In addition, newer edition cards tend to be relatively cheaper than older ones (there are exceptions). That way it will be much cheaper to play in this mode, which can attract less experienced players (and maybe bots).

Unfortunately, this duo doesn't match very well, after all novice players will be wanting to learn about the game and facing machines that calculate the best compositions makes the dispute a little unfair, so I believe that some ideas still need to be reviewed to make Splinterlands a friendlier environment for new players.

Anyway, this mode will let you not have to deal with absurdly powerful and very high level cards that some older players have (but that doesn't exclude the possibility that they will play with the absurdly powerful and very high level Untamed cards 🤣).

ADVANTAGES OF WILD RANKED

I believe this will be the most "fair" way to play after this first adjustment period, as as more and more people migrate to Modern mode, the Wild mode reward pool will be distributed to a smaller number of people. players who venture into battles with all available editions.

As we've always played with all of them, I believe that more experienced players (even those who don't have a large collection) will stick with Wild mode if the rewards are better.

SPS GRAPHIC REACTION

Despite the movement very similar to BTC (something extremely common with all Altcoins), at the time the update was completed, SPS made a slightly higher rise, in addition to having an increase very interesting in the volume of negotiations.

This shows that even though all altcoins are extremely linked to Bitcoin movements, this long-awaited update from Splinterlands really brought the mood for investors to get back to moving SPS.

FINAL CONSIDERATIONS

We hope that in the long term and with the coming of new updates things will continue to improve and that they will move towards a sustainable long term and that the game will become more and more fun, because being a great game makes it a great investment.
