How does one organize these priorities when you are three months in??

I AM THE EAGER MINNOW
I wanted to start blogging or post some chatter on some NEWBIE ADVENTURES as I go through this new obsession that is the Splinterverse, in hopes to stumble upon some tips or tricks AND to also build up others that may be new to the game.
In my weeks of playing, learning and continued research on topics to discuss, I find myself almost awestruck but DUMBstruck on where to focus my energy next as the new SHINY changes emerge...

CH CH CH CHANGES
To be frank (Even though I am Betty) 😍 ... I am worried that all of the new changes are geared towards the BIG BOYS or the Badass Whale population of Splinterlands... leaving behind most of the little guys or maybe "weeding out" people that don't have the money to drop on a 2 MILLION power card arsenal or 17 validator nodes or 14 separate accounts.
Is there hope for us little guys out there?

My Splinter support (aka my real world boyfriend and sexy Rock) assures me that this is not "All for naught".
I am simply curious about different thoughts and views on all of these changes.
Open to any helpful feedback that doesn't include "Get out now" option because Betty IS NOT a quitter!
