Pros and cons of holding DEC in Splinterlands

So we all know that from battling and chests we get DEC in splinterlands but what are the pros and cons of holding lots of it on your account?

Pros

Airdrop points at present if you hold DEC on you account you get airdrop points each day for SPS tokens..

Being able to grab a deal in the market place fast - we all know that sometimes cards come up for sale or rent alot cheaper than they should be so having DEC ready to go on your account means you can make those quick purchases.

Cons

Spending it because its there - we all know what its like to have money burning a hole in your pocket well its the same with DEC if its there you are more likly to spend it

DEC Price - Now this is a big one splinterlands Wanted DEC to be at 1000 DEC for $1 but due to the airdrop this has jumpped up and currently 1000 DEC is worth $5.75, But how would you feel if you has say 10.000 DEC in your account worth $57.50 one day and then the games peggs the price back to the 1000 DEC for a $1 all of a sudden you are left with only $10 worth in your account

There are arguments for both sides here i personally only keep about 1000 DEC in my account and then a good amount of unstaked SPS in game that i can change over if needed.
