Splinterlands: Unlocked Gold 2 about a day and a half before the season ended!đŸ”„

Just two days ago, I mentioned that I had very little time to play Splinterlands this season—my daily streak even broke twice because I was out of town. However, by becoming a bit more active over the last couple of days, I managed to improve my ranking. After a series of wins and losses, and with only a day and a half left in the season, I have finally succeeded in unlocking Gold League Tier 2. Since there is just over a day remaining, I intend to try and unlock Gold League 1 as well, aiming to finish the season there or—for the first time ever—in the Diamond League. Of course, this is just my hope; in reality, I have attempted this many times before, so I know it is an incredibly difficult challenge.

In accordance with Splinterlands' system, unlocking any tier grants you welcome rewards. These rewards begin as soon as you enter the Bronze League; initially, Bronze League Tier 3 offers 3 Minor Chests, increasing to 5 Minor Chests by Bronze Tier 1. Similarly, rewards for Silver League Tier 3 include 4 Minor Chests and 1 Major Chest, scaling up to 6 Minor and 3 Major Chests by Silver Tier 1. Since I am currently in the Gold League, I received 7 Minor and 4 Major Chests in the previous tier (Tier 3), and upon unlocking Tier 2, I received 8 Minor and 5 Major Chests. These chests contain random rewards ranging from cards to consumables—such as scrolls, alchemy potions, legendary potions, and merits. You can also use potions to increase your chances of obtaining Legendary or Gold Foil cards—a practice I follow as well—though it is a different matter that I have never actually benefited from them; even with the boosted odds provided by potions, the probability remains around 1%, meaning success ultimately depends purely on luck.

From the Legendary Potion, I received one Legendary Potion; additionally, I obtained a total of around 1,500 Merits, 5 entries, 2 Energy, 3 Alchemy Potions, and a Rare Scroll. This scroll allows me to unlock a card of my choice and make it tradable, which is truly profitable. Apart from this, I also pulled a Common-rarity Water element melee card. I already have this card upgraded to Level 3 in my deck—where it boasts 3 melee attack power instead of 2—and it includes a new ability called "Reveal." This ability reveals a Camouflage card each round, stripping away its Camouflage status and making it vulnerable to direct attacks. This Level 1 copy will help me upgrade the card to an even higher level. Although I was hoping for a few more cards or a Legendary Scroll, I am satisfied with what I got.

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!đŸ”„
