Splinterlands: Day 17 - Bringing in Some Excitement With New Card Rental

I don't know how about you, but these guys in the Bronze III league are killing me with those Water element cards, and I decided to surprise them a bit, bring some excitement into the game as for me the same or similar to them. 😉

In short, I decided to rent a card, but not just any card, the one that would help me beat those Water element fans. Besides, the end of the season was approaching around the corner, and something should be done to end it in the best possible way.

Owster Rotwell

The choice "fell" on Owster Rotwell, a very nice rare Death summoner from Dice edition.

Although it would be helpful to us only at level one (as we don't have any higher level monsters) it wasn't very cheap. On the other hand, considering that it was only two days left before the end of the season, its higher price might be somewhat understandable.

Oh boy, oh boy, I can't express to you well enough how excited I was, eagerly waiting for the battle ruleset where I would be able to use this wiggly summoner kid.

All in all, it ended up way better than I even hoped! 😃

Day 17

In a total of 23 battles being played, we raised our rating for almost 100 points (98) from the previous day, so we didn't only get a score of 500 points but also exceeded it.

We also succeeded in bringing back our winning ratio above 50% (52.17%).

And last but certainly not least, we've got another card. It's a 6th card we received in the reward chests for completing the daily quests.

TPelacor Bandit

Pelacor Bandit is the reward, a common card from the Water Monster collection.

Although it has only one melee attack, it has nice speed (3) and two extra abilities, sneak and flying ability, both of which might be quite a handful in combat.

However, I feel like somebody whispered into the chest that we are having troubles with Water element fans, and the chest decided to give us a card so we can start thinking of battling with this element too, and maybe even gain some advantage. 😉

All the best Splinterland fellows, and until next time, hold your lines! 💪

Chris
