Semana 270 de Splinterlands: Concurso de arte "Natural Titan"
Hello everybody! I have been absent several times from this art contest but I'm back and this time for the Splinterlands art contest I bring you a card made by myself which I named "Natural Titan" or "Natural Titan" next I will tell you a little about who he is, his characteristics and the process in the creation of the drawing that represents him along with how he would look on a card.
Who or what is it?
The Natural Titan is an elemental being born from the same soil whose mission is to preserve the integrity of the region of nature guarding the forests and life of any threat in the world, as well as him, there are also his brothers who protect other regions of the world and preserve the integrity of these, when he is inactive simply lies on the ground and quickly becomes a mountain full of weeds, trees, etc..
But when there is a threat, the titan is swallowed by the ground and comes out of it right in the place of the threat, of course, to avoid harming the animals, they all flee even before he moves.
CHARACTERISTICS
The Natural Titan has several characteristics as well as abilities, such as:
- It has a size of 1.5 kilometers in height.
- A very resistant body because being so big, human attacks do not penetrate its hard tree bark.
- It has the ability to give strong blows which cause small earthquakes if they impact with the ground.
- It can launch a kind of white flame called "fire of natural life" which creates herbs and flowers where it falls but do not trust it despite sounding very harmless it would actually kill anyone who is "burned" with it.
- Because it is so large, it can travel great distances in a few steps.
- Its weakest point is its abdomen as it does not have a wooden armor there because that part is super flexible and allows it to rotate its upper body 180°.
- He is the most clueless titan of all.
- Because of his size he can't run very fast so he almost always walks.
DRAWING PROCESS
MY DESING
First I started with a body guide made with simple figures to understand the structure I was making and the perspective in which the titan would be in, being a pose in which he is preparing to launch his "natural life fire" and supporting himself from the ground with his leg. Then I made the sketch of the character in which you can better see its shape and appearance of giant tree, after that I started the coloring with the face of the titan painting it in an orange color following the lines of the sketch as a guide, then I made a simple line art with a darker color and with a brush that simulates a paint brush. I duplicated the line art and then blurred one of them giving it that soft look, then I deactivated the sketch layer and made the eyes which are cracks where you can see bright green dots which are the eyes of the titan, and to finish with the mask I made its shadows and a few lights being this the render.
Done that I colored the body with a brown color to make it look more like a tree, finished the base color I did again the simple line art with the brush brush, finally I made the render to the body and also took the opportunity to make the abdomen part at once as you can see in the image. At the end of everything I made the white flame on his fist, I also made the reflections of the fire and some fluorescent vines that come out of his wooden armor.
Here would be the final result and how it would look on his card which I also designed on my own.
