Splinterlands 2026: Starting My Journey - Season No. 2 in Ranked Battle 'Frontier'

Loving It!

Was kind of wondering if the shine would wear off, but can happily report that not only did I continue to enjoy 'Frontier' Battle as much as last season but I actually doubled down and probably competed quite a bit more, chasing Daily Rewards and a place on the Frontier Season Leaderboard! :)

Daily Rewards..

So I managed to slip into Silver III League briefly but then was quickly beaten back.. so for the lions share of the Season time was spent thrashing around in Bronze I. Obviously this was a little inconvenient as I was then only getting 2x Reward Cards and 1x Competition Entry, but some of the Daily Rewards were outright superb in the end.

• Picked up my first ever gold foil, Dread Tafarian, at time of Reward checked on the market and he was worth ~$0.10 which is epic!

• Having landed my first Gold Foil figured I'd reached the pinnacle in terms of Daily Reward, but then a few days later 2x Marlai Singariel Archon Cards in one go, massive! At time of Reward roughly 2x $0.24. Biggest reward in Frontier ever, by some margin! :)

• Quality Rewards just kept sailing in, finally got my hands on a shiny new Saltwater Mage of my own, which was nice having been on the receiving end of her talents many times thus far lol! - superb card can't wait to level it up.

• The saucy cards just kept coming, got my hands on a Glimmermancer as well. Which is a properly handy card to have in the stable for high Mana matches when Earth Splinter is involved.

• Immediately pressed him into service and surprise surprise he tipped the balance in my favour and helped hand me a win!

• That +2 Magic attack did a grand job of helping scythe through my opponents backline :)

Season Progress?

Mostly camped out in Bronze I but decent wedge of time spent in Silver III, no further League progression made sadly, but it was to be expected..

Last Season I flew out of the gates carving right through Bronze and into Silver III so there were little to no expectations of making any further progress until I've put in some hard yards and levelled up my Collection a bit.

Definite lull in the middle of the Season, Battle difficulty definitely increased and drove down my success average, but towards the end of the Season things really picked up.. on occasion I was romping along taking down 5 or 6 wins in a row and finally boosting myself back into Silver III League in a big way! :)

The Leaderboard..

Bit of context required here, I'd not really paid much attention to the Frontier Leader Board in my first week, I mean obviously I didn't have the chops to challenge for anything..

Working under the assumption that a few more Card were going to be needed in my collection before worrying about that!

• First time around had a quick look and decided that there was no point concentrating on anything other than gathering as many Daily Rewards as possible.
• This Season.. to my surprise that previous surge I mentioned into Silver III had me half way up the Leaderboard a few days out from end of Season!

I was beside myself with the possibility of the achievement lol

• A decision had to be made, press on with Daily Rewards or try and hold onto a Leaderboard Spot, decided in the end to throw caution to the wind and see what happened..
  Epic News! Managed to sneak 50th Place, and got a Reward!

Season Wrap Up..

Fantastic Season, picked up some properly saucy Reward Cards, managed to claw my way into the Top 50 on the Frontier Leaderboard (which I never expected), somewhere in the middle of that surge a win streak of 8 battles for a relative newbie! lol..

• Now I guess I have it all to do, will be starting next Season in Silver III and getting stuck in straight from the off!

Either way super chuffed and starting to dream of Frontier Silver II League..
