Bots are everywhere. They are also available in the CHAOS/HIVE trading pair on Hive-Engine. But I don't let them make a lot of money there.
I first encountered bots in 2007 when I was trading futures on low-liquid instruments. It was easy to deceive them. Since then, the algorithms are practically the same.
