Zyriel NFT sales is live on Splinterlands promo assets shop. Zyriel NFT is a utility card NFT in the Splinterlands ecosystem that would be used in battles and in Lands. Zyriel NFT is not your regular Splinterlands Card NFT, it is the first dual element legendary monster card, being both a life and death monster. This means that the monster card can be summoned to battle by either a Life, Death, neutral or dragon summoner.

When used in battle, Zyriel sports the new weapons training ability alongside three others including Life leach, Divine Shield and Rust. With a relatively low manna cap of 7, Zyriel NFT fields some huge stats. It has a strong range attack (3 to 5) and a fair amount of health (5). It's strength in battle improves as the battle continues.

The card fits into many teams and many battle situations and rulesets with its unique features. Valued at $80 USD or 80,000 DEC in a promo card sale is considered a big win for players especially with its multiple usecases. The Splinterlands team further woos players into acquiring more Zyriel NFT with a discount design that takes 250 DEC off per VOUCHER used in the purchase.

If a player uses 160 VOUCHERs (worth $16) to purchase Zyriel NFT, he would need just 40,000 DEC for the purchase. That places the card at a discounted price of $56 USD with VOUCHERs. Where 80 VOUCHERs is used, the purchase would require 60,000 DEC, thus placing the card at a discounted price of $68 USD).

Zyriel NFT: Promo Shop or P2P Marketplace?

While trying to toggle the amounts of VOUCHER to use to see how much discount can be obtained, I observed that using 128 VOUCHERs would discount the price of the card to 48,000 DEC. Incidentally, that is the amount of DEC needed to purchase the same card in the splinterlands Peer-to-peer card market.

Those who have purchased the promo card earlier are listing it in the Splinterlands peer-to-peer market at $39 USD which is equivalent to 48,000 DEC. This prompts me to ask which market is more profitable to buy Zyriel NFT.

Buying it at promo shop at 48,000 DEC also gulps additional 128 VOUCHER which is equivalent to $12.8 USD. That values the card at $60 USD (in-game marketplace price.) Hoever, one can buy the same card at a far less price in the p2p marketplace at $39 or 48,000 DEC.

I'm hoping that there would be incentives for buying the card in the promo shop plus the fact that it helps to burn VOUCHER. However, the economy of the NFT should be designed in such a way that it is more profitable to buy in the shop than in the open market at least within the period that the promo sales is ongoing.

So far, close to 500 Zyriel NFT has been purchased in the Splinterlands promo shop, and we have 29 days left for the sales to be, except where the 15,000 copies of card sells out. With antecedent, it is obvious that, the promo card would be sold out before the end of the sale window.
