Such development shows that the marketing strategy by Splinterlands Inc., is superb even when we are in the bear market. The card pack sale milestone unlocked the fifth Chaos Legion legendary summoner airdrop to players buying CL packs in the game's market.

The airdropped legendary summoner known as Astral Entity is a unique summoner built to enhance the offensive and defensive abilities of the monster units. It reduces the Armor of all enemy characters. It gives all friendly characters the ability to Dodge Melee and Ranged attacks, and on the support side it Resurrects a friendly character, bringing it back to life with 1 Health. Incredible ability!
Earning such a card for free is a great deal and especially as it trades around $20 at the moment for a non-gold foil and $126 for a gold counterpart. It's pretty amazing how a Splinterlands player receives over $100 as a reward for buying an asset.
When you miss a Splinterlands Summoner Airdrop..
This time, I wasn't lucky enough to again receive Astral Entity as an airdrop. That signals I need to up my game with buying CL packs so as to stand a chance to receive the last two airdrops to be left. I decided to rent the card ad use it in battles. here are the link to the battles led by Astral Entity summoner:
The summoner remains in my rack for the next 7 days and the performance of my team would inform whether to buy, retain or let go of the summoner.
What do you do with your Free Cards?
We're still in the bear season and this has kept the prices of splinterlands nft cards low as well. HODLing your NFTs could be a great option but renting them out could be another crucial way of compounding your gains in the splinterlands game.
Use your airdropped cards for battles if you are an active player of the game. The results of my battles above shows that when combined with the right monster units, Astral Entity summoner could bring more battle rewards, Chests and even more free cards.

I think they didn't entirely sell out this 13 million as they actually burned a lot, but it's a great milestone. I wished I got that death summoner, but I wasn't really to be this time.
