My Hive Goals: Improving engagments/earnings, Stepping-up Gaming Holdings & CUB/PolyCUB Invasion
It is true that when you fail to plan, you plan to fail. This applies for all faces of life including finances and investment. Since I joined @Jongolson and @ph1102 in updating #myhivegoals from year 2021, I was able to attain some strategic heights with my crypto investments. The goals updates,. helped me to be disciplined and consistent in activities that would fast-track the attianment of the goals.
Amazingly, since we started year 2022, I hadn't updated my Hive goals, perhaps I took the time to understudy the trends of events around the cryptoverse so I can know the baskets to throw my eggs into. When I talk about the cryptoverse, I mean Hive blockchain. The Hive ecosystem is expanding on daily basis linking to many blockchains who in turn register their presence here in diverse forms. With the increasing DeFi options that are growing on Hive, it is becoming a home for other blockchains and their assets.
In this report, I will concentrate on my earnings, gaming holdings and the mega CUB/PolyCUB emergence. I'll also share my long term thoughts about the tokens I invest in here on Hive.
Improving Earnings
It is true that Hive blockchain provides the cheapest option to crypto investment. This is because while other blockchains require a start-up cash for investment to begin, one can start an investment journey here with almost nothing, that is $0.00. I have this testimony and would always share to inspire those who care. Asides my gadget (which was already used for other socialmedia engagement) and data, my investment journey on Hive didn't start with money. I started by creating posts then earnings from the posts were accumulated and later-on invested into profit-yielding options.
Any user that is consistent with earning Hive from posts, comments and playing games is a potential investor if well planned. Today, my investment holdings here are running into Thousands of dollars and it all started as a content creation and socialmedia journey. Once in a while, we get lazy with creating contents and this only shows seveen days after when days pass with no rewards. Truly, as long as we spend without earning, there's bound to be a negative trend in wealth value.
Thanks to hivestats that truly tells us our progress when it comes to earnings. It is shocking to see that my chart reads that I missed about 10 days without rewards over the last 30 reward-payout days (from February 8 to March 8, 2022. Skipping those days may look insignificant until you discover that you missed over $100 for not posting, assuming that at least $10 is earned daily.
I'm making up for myself. I challenge myself to achieve at least 8 30-day posting before the end of the year 2022. Improving my earning sources would provide more capital for the investment choices I'll be making this year. In addition, gaming is another awesome way of earning cryptos here on Hive. I've ben pretty consistent with Rabona. It's time I looked out to other games. My goals over the next 10 months concerning engagement and earnings would be:
- At least a posts daily
- At least 10 comments daily.
Gaming Holdings and the way forward in 2022
Gaming is the new work in this Play2earn era. many are leaving their regular work to cruising in game funs which takes them to the bank. Hive presents us with an array of game. I have ventured to a lot of them, but it seems that only @Rabona and @Splinterlands are the ones I am presently earning from. I am anticipating @Ragnarok.game and @Chifibots coming soon.
My major gaming assets include: Rabona in-game token (RBN), Splinterlands assets (SPS, DEC), Gaming content curation tokens - Splintertalk (SPT) and 1UP (ONEUP). Presently doing fine with the accumulation of the tokens RBN but I know there is the possibility for more.

Tribes Curation
Everyone that is a year older on Hive would have noticed my obsession for second layer tokens and curating with them. That has been the secret to my growth in Hive. There is no going back. Tokenized Communities are the future of internet and Hive is already showing it can work. My interests for now has been: LEO, SPORTS, CTP, LIST, POB, CENT, ONEUP, SPT. However, VYB are PIMP are new tokens on my radar. Below are the goals with the Hive-engine tokens:

CUB/PolyCUB Invasion
Everyone that has been into DeFi would agree that the PolyCUB project by @LeoFinance community is a beautiful thing. Sincerely it is. With its yield optimization, sharing a part of the airdrop is not something to be missed. Although I had participated in CUB airdrop, I never saw PolyCUB coming this soon with a sweeter return and infrastructure.
CUB/PolyCUB is something worth adding to every Hive investment portfolio. I've started the journey and will soon get to somewhere quite comfortable before the end of the airdrop.
With the recent development, CUB/PolyCUB stacking will be a part of my long term holdings on Hive as long as there are many blockchains to be bridged by the LeoFinance community.
Thinking Long-term
Cryptocurrency is still a virgin industry. We can say it's still in the early teenage level. As the years pass, adoption increases and more value can be mined. I'm into crypto on a long term basis and had long defined the real-time usecases for the token I invest in.
It could be in the next year or two, Five or Ten. Whatever the length of time, these wishes shall come through.
We're about finishing the first quarter of the year 2022 and its still a good time to set goals that could be achieved in the remaining three quarters.
