A Magic Vs Non-attacking Battle | The Shaky Earthquake

It is another day and it is time for the weekly battle mage challenge, it seems that the incoming update is finally, an announcement is up already and it will be updated in 6days which means immediately after the season end, next season will be a banger I must say and I hope we are really ready for this incoming change. This week we are are using the earthquake rule set, the rules dealt -2 damage to any monster cards without the flying ability. Nah i really don't like this ruleset and even noxious fume because of the extra damage dealt each round, during this rule set, I'm always push to start looking for monster cards with flying ability which most times are always few in my collection unless I have to rent some out.

Most times I do see my opponent making use of dragon summoner with the flying ability just to make sure his monster cards are saved from the extra damage and it always make me feel somehow because that actually give him/her extra advantage against me, so I had this battle with carmaylard1 in a 22 mana capped match, we had two ruleset which are aimless which give all monster cards the scatter shot ability and also earthquake which is the main ruleset and we could pick between life, death and dragon element. First of all, the mana cap is really small which means I have to pick out of my best cards and also that scattershot means I cant use a taunt or camouflage card, it will be useless.

Checking out the criteria, I decided to pick death element, use a summoner that can reduce melee damage by 1, I had no idea what he will come up with so i picked Cursed windeku with both healing and thorn as my frontline, I had to use a flying ability card so I make sure I picked the strongest one in my death collection so I use Phantom soldier with both silence, void and flying ability and lastly I picked Silence sha vi with the sneak ability just to hold the backline and deal as many damage as possible. I submitted the battle since I was ok with my pick.

checking out my opponent, he also brought just 1 flying card with no attack and also use a summoner that reduce health and magic attack by 1 but I had a feeling I still have some advantage over him with what I saw actually saw. It in a scenario where we both have our flying ability card left it will be a magic vs non attacking card battle, check out the battle and see how this really play out?
