It is time for the week battle mage battle challenge where players get to talk about their formation and strategies in winning a game and this always give more indepth knowledge to other players, I do call it the sight seer. Also the social media challenge for the week theme is sharing about our splinterlands journey so far, I had to spare some of my time to read most people experience so far, saw how many ways people find out about the game, how they had to invest to build up their deck collections which is important to increase their rank and league level, how they had to even cope before the renting market finally came into existence, to top it all, it worth the read.

This week battle mage challenge is one of the ruleset I don't really like, it is the Back to Basics which make all units to lose their abilities, even though I don't like this rule set, I just smile whenever I see it, the major reason I don't like this particular rule set is because I love using abilities in battle and this always make me pick just card in particular which is the magic cards because that is the major general option and if someone is use to this particular rule set, he can easily guess which card I might use and use a counter summoner to defeat me, at times I use to do silent prayer just to select cards for this rule set. So I had this battle with tigerflying47 which is 26 mana capped and to me such mana is really of average and one had to think on which cards to really select, we had 3 basic ruleset which is the Broken Arrow which remove all range based monster cards, Melee Mayhem which allow melee monster cards to attack from any position and lastly is the Back to basics which remove all monster cards abilities, We also get to pick from any element except earth and life element.

I had to rethink on what to actually use since I saw the melee mayhem, I thought of using melee instead but remember melee cards can't hit health directly if armour is present and I was like what if I change my strategy and my opponent use magic against me, so I just change my mind and checking the mana capped, I decided to select the following, Furious Chicken as my frontline, it wasn't that useful but to just take some damages, picked non attacking shadowy presence also to take damage, I had to pick my magic cards and at least the strong ones in attack and health so I picked Phantom soldier, Revealer, Magi Necrosis and Venari bonesmith. Four magic cards plus two damage takers and I just submit my cards.

Boom, I just had to smile when I saw what my opponent brought on deck, like for real, what am I seeing, thank my star I didn't change my strategy to use melee cards, he decided to bring in armour based cards but magic suppress it by hitting the health instead and I won the battle free and fair.

THANKS FOR READING! CONTINUE PLAYING SPLINTERLANDS AND EARN THOSE JUICY REWARD
