Splinterlands Beginner Tips | Different Ways To Earn On SPL

Another twist to the splinterland media aspect for the week, I remember when I joined Splinterlands like 3-4 years ago, finding my path and building up was somehow hard at first because as an average beginning, I had to build myself up from scratch with little investment. The first time to do after registration is grabbing your own spell book which cost 10$, why the Spellbook? That was the first question I asked back then, why can't we just start the game straight up. Purchasing Spellbook gave you lot of opportunity in the game, normally you can play the game but you won't be able to earn or do the necessary things, it will just look like you going to the training ground to train.

Having a spell book unlock some features perks, it give you access to a lot of things like the shop section, daily focus, rewards from battle, chest reward, season rewards, tournament and all other stuffs and you also get 3000 credits, once you purchase the spell board, you will have access to some certain level 1 cards to play the game with. Those cards won't give you anything and that is where the investment aspects start from, you have to purchase cards from the market and level them up or on the easy part rent the cards you need from the rental market section.

How To Earn

This is one of the beginners Favorite question, what are we going to earn and how. I actually asked the same questions back in the days because it is more interesting earning while having fun playing a game and I also see it as return of investment (ROI), more reason why some players invested or should I say spent a lot on the game and also earn really well. The First aspect is the Ranked Battle Rewards, gone where the days when we earn dec token anytime we won a rank battle but how we receive sps along side other reward, we have two league which is the modern and wild and what you earn varies and also depend on your league, rating, stake and some other things calculated together. That is more reason why someone advice to move up your rating if you want to earn more (rank up, earn more).

Chests Reward is one thing we always look forwards to and we have 2 types, the daily rewards which is earn based on the accumulated reward point for the day and at each set point, you earn 1 chest which you can open after 24hrs and also the season rewards is the total reward points you earn during the season (15days) and it can be claim at the end of the season. These rewards are contained different splinterlands monster cards, sps, merits and potions.

Tournament Rewards can always be find in the event section, these are events created by different players or communities, they are like contest where players registered and battle against each other and at the end of the tournament, some rewards specify in the announcement part are distributed to those on the specific win leaderboard. Most tournament aren't free because they required certain amount of fee to pay and it also depend on which league you are. I do call this aspect the money doubler 😀, enter with low fee 2-6 sps and try to cash out 12-20 sps or more which mean you have to beat your opponent and secure a good spot on the leaderboard

Sps Staking is also a good way to earn, it is even required to stake sps in the game which is part of what they use in calculating battle rewards. There is an apr attached to it and their are other perks attached to it.

The one I love the most is the blogging aspect which is one of the best way to earn outside the game. The spl team make it more interesting for players by creating 3 challenges every week for content creators who play splinterlands and you can always find the announcement on the splinterland hive account. The first is the Art challenge which mainly is for the art creators or designers, you can come up with any art related work talking about the game and blog about the process. There is Social media challenge where you make a post about splinterlands which you can share across all platform and you receive vote on it. Lastly is the Battle Mage Secret Challenge where you showcase your strategy, formation based on the ruleset theme given for the week. This are the different ways to earn while playing splinterland.
