Temporal Masters | The Gods Of Node

It time for this week splinterlands weekly battle challenge and this week, we are diving into the life element and picking out a magic epic monster card from the chaos legion named Temporal Master with a low average stat and also recharge ability at level 1 which give your card the chance to attack every even turn and did 3x damage to the opponent card, it also possess the stun ability at the last level 6 which stun it target and make it to skip a turn. The card health is really low which make me not to really notice it, it can be destroyed easily since it still have to wait a turn before it attack which at times make it useless in some battle rules, another good cards can always take it places.

I only have it at level 2, and I just decided to rent the max one by mistake because am not playing at diamond or championship league currently which can showcase it full potential and see how powerful it can be, it can also work well in some rules like the equaliser where all health are equal, reverse rule also since it speed is only 2 and you have to place it in a good position while defending it with your monster cards. The card image make me remember this particular character in Marvel that do this this kind of rune to move from one universe to other or places to places

This is the splinterlands Doctor strange, at times I do wish the game is an animation based or the characters have some back up videos where you can see the cards showcasing their potentials, but it is just an imagination.

The Battle Proper

This particular battle was between I and @Ranga17 in a 24 mana capped battle where we can only pick from fire or life element and we were given the Heavy Hitter rule where all monster card receive the knockout ability and also melee mayhem where melee cards can attack from any positions. On a norms, seeing this rule, I always check if the earth element is available so I can reconsider picking melee cards because the opponent might decide to use crowlings which will put me at the disadvantage end, since there isnt earth in the option, I decided to use life since I already rent Grandmaster Rathe as my summoner and the void amour with extra amour is really important in this kind of battle, the funniest part is that I didn't really use heavy amour cards this time around, It skipped my mind, also the knockout ability they will be receiving gave me the hint of using stunned ability card which I didn't use either, which mean I wasn't really following most of the rule.

Based on the summoner I was using, I decided to use Chaos Knight mainly because of the shield ability which reduced attack receive from melee and range cards, also it have some good amour too, back it up with xenith monk since it can attack from the position and also heal itsef, then divine healer with the tank heal to heal my frontline, then the main card temporal master. I was left with 2 mana and also two space, I inserted Celestial Harpy to take the space since it possess the opportunity and true strike ability, then Soul Fiend took the last position.

I was a bit happy with the selection while hoping my opponent wont use too much magic cards, and guess what, he came all in with melee cards but lot of sneak attacking cards, he clear most of my backline cards but Temporal master was able to destroy his slivershield knight at a go with just one attack, and he destroy my main card after that. The tank heal really work out this time and sustain chaos knight to the very end and I won the match flawlessly.
