The Close Range Ruleset | The Multiple Healers Strategy

It is time for the splinterlands battle mage challenge week, this week theme actually came out late than usual, at some point I even thought there won't be a mage challenge this week, the theme choose for the week is the Close range rule set which is the only rule set (ability) that give range monster cards the chance to attack in the front line position. The more reason why I really don't like range card is because they are always jobless in the front position plus they don't hit health directly, most times it do give me headache most times I see range only based rule set because I don't always know what to use and I do lose such battle.

This week battle was with Arnebug in a 19 mana capped battle with only one ruleset which is the close range and also the main theme for the week, it even make it more easier for me to select my strategy since we can pick only fire and life element. On a normal day, i will go with fire if we have enough mana cap though, fire element have some good range monster cards and most of them even have close range ability. This time around, I just decided to pick life element sine the mana cap is low and it will be a nice idea picking cards with low mana and there are lot of them in life element.

After selecting my summoner, I had to pick Imperial knight as my frontline, i really don't know what my opponent will bring on board so I know knight will be a good frontline, because I had to use divine healer next which will support knight with the tank heal, I had to put soul fiend in between them just incase there is an extra side effect from my opponent attack, picking a range card, I use venari crystalsmiths which also have a dispel and tank heal, both onboard to prevent knight from getting destroyed. I had 2 mana cap left so I picked celestial harpy with the opportunity and true strike ability then at last I picked furious chicken to hold the backline position.

He actually surprise me by bringing in just 3 cards on board, a martyr, a gladiator and furious chicken, but unknowing to me, what I brought on board is far enough to sustain and hold my stand onboard. Even with the martyr activation which somehow make his gladiator strong, my dispel ability nullify everything and also the double tank heal with the self heal make imperial knight more stronger and prevent it from getting destroyed and I won. What do you see with this strategy?
