The Lost Legendaries | A Duo Battle

It is time of the week for the splinterland weekly battle challenge and to top it all, the end of the season is already here which is less than a day, this season have been really tough since dropped down below gold league, the chest reward there are really shitty since it is full of just small sps, merit and potions inside of enough soulbound cards since I'm currently trying to build up my soulbound card collections and I only have few of them already, I'm curiously waiting for the day they will be tradeable so as to know the exact worth of this cards. This week battle mage theme is the Lost Legendaries ruleset which doesn't allow any legendary monster cards in the particular battle but legendary summoners are available and in this ruleset, there is no tricks except you are bringing in your other strategies or if there is another ruleset attacked to it.

In this selected battle I had with Mario03 which is 15mana capped with the Lost legendaries and up to elevens rule set which give all the monster cards the amplify ability and we could pick from only 3 element which is fire, water and life, seeing that the mana capped is really low, I really couldn't figure out what to choose but really happy there is no earth element in the option so my opponent wont thing of using thorns cards, after lot of decision, I had to decide on using healing cards with the hope that it will last long in battle and probably win the match so I picked life element using general sloan with extra range stat, so I picked just two cards based on some certain reasons.

First is Imperial Knight as my frontline even though it is a card of low speed it is a card of average attack and enough health, not just that I love the card because of the two abilities healing which restore part of the health every round and void amour which allow attacks to hit the amour first before damaging the health and secondly, is venari crystalsmith which is range cards with tank heal which restore a portion of the frontline health each round. I had to submit my battle so as to know what my opponent will bring on board and I was a bit surprise because I thought he will make use of magic cards but he came with 2 melee cards also diemonshark and tide biter to support it, with Diemonshark enrage ability which increase the attack stats when I damage it health, gave me some cold chill at some point because if my knight get destroyed, that is the end of the game for me.

What I picked actually work hand in hand and the healing decision stand the test of time, which make knight stand strong, at some point I wish the repair ability is also available to repair the amour too but it is what it is and I won the battle.
