The Power Of Kralus With Martyr And Resurrect Combo | A New Formation Trial

Battling in lower league is really fun and should I say competitive, well that is what Splinterland game is all about battling each other with different strategy since the battle arena only need one winner and it is really rare having a draw. I realised it is way easy to battle in sliver leagues now even if you don't owned any cards in your collection since the rental market is easily accessible, the required levelled cards are really cheap to rent except some few legendary monster cards and high mana summoner that cost a lot and the sps renting part, I was able to rent 10k sps with just 800 dec or so for just 7days which is affordable and that will place you in a modifiers that can earn you close to 0.8-1 sps per victory and I'm easily using that renting method to build my sps stake bit by bit.

This week, I came across a battle strategy that surprised me a lot, like I never thing of such formation since I love using cards with martyr ability in between two cards there by putting them side by side to it just to buff their stats until I came across this player who make use of life element monster cards and decided to use the Martyr card combo with Kralus for me, Kralus is a legendary monster card with 2 attacking strength, one from magic and the other is melee attack, with enough amour and health and not just that, at the sliver league it have the healing ability among others which make it really strong to withstand some certain attacks. I don't even kralus in my collection and checking out the market value, it currently worth 73$ for 1 and I need like 3 of it to put it to level 2 just to have the healing ability while renting it cost just 146 dec for 2days, so I decided to rent it instead and try out this strategy

Checking out this formation, I had the first battle with lice in a 46 mana capped with the Earthquake ruleset which deal 2 damage to all cards that do not have flying ability and we could pick from any element except fire and death, I had to pick life element since that is where the available card is, so based on the formation to use, the card placement really matters a lot, I had to use Venari marksrat as my frontline with the martyr ability even though range cards can't attack as a frontline unless they have the close range ability, then I backed it up with Kralus the double attacking monster card with immune, flying and healing abilities, aside this two core cards, the resurrect ability is also very important since the martyr cards have to be destroy first and it need to be resurrect back on board as many times as you want so you need to make use of the resurrect cards so I decided to use to of it each battle or at least 1 of it so I picked Adelade Brightwing and High Priest Darius to fell the spot with their different abilities and lastly is Cornealus to hold the backline strong.

This formation might look weird but it really work out irrespective of the rule set given unless you opponent decided to use an affliction based cards especially doctor blight that has this camouflage ability but apart from that you are good to do. As planned, Marksrat got destroyed first and it was resurrected twice which really buff up kralus power and make it more stronger up to 9 attack in total and the immune ability prevent kralus from having any negative buff that will reduce all the buffed stats, this really look interesting and I was able to clear his monster cards on time and won the battle.
