It time for the weekly splinterland battle mage challenge and an amazing ruleset got chosen this time around which is the What Doesn't kill you, and like this popular work in my country, they use to say what doesn't kill you, will always make you stronger which is somehow true in reality and seeing the ruleset on splinterland also make me see it as one amazing ruleset. This ruleset will give each monster cards the fury ability and this ability always increase the monster card attack and speed when every the card take the first health damage. We always love to see our stats get boost in battle which do make things get more interesting.

Prior to this battle, I had it in mind that this battle do work on all monster cards, so I thought because I really don't watch all my battles after submitting the cards except some few onces, and most times I just want to see the final result if i win or not, most times I do select some cards with the fury ability and do see it work well, Today I noticed the ability don't work on all cards, it only work on melee by increasing the attack and speed, while it only increase the speed of other cards while neglecting their attack. It was a wow discovering through this battle mage.

I had this battle with Breaded-benjamin in a 37 mana capped battle with the What doesn't kill you rule set which is the main, Wand out which only allow magic cards on board and lastly is the up to eleven which give all the cards the amplify ability. We could only select from death, earth or dragon element, checking out the mana capped and the element available, I had to go with death element and decided to use the following monster cards.

Since it is all magic, I decided to use Prismatic energy as my frontline, void and magic reflect are really important in a magic monster card battle, and with the amplify ability, it will increase the damage returned to the the attacker, then I picked Djinn Muirat with the void armour, and magic reflect among others, the void armour always make it stay longer in battle and this is one reason why I do make use of this particular cards. Phantom Soldiers always stand strong during magic battle with the silence ability to reduce opponent magic attack, the void which reduce the magic attack received and flying ability which do evade attack from melee and range attack but not useful in this battle, Venari Spellsmith to cast the dispel and take away any positive buff from the target, it would have been great if it come with the affliction ability also and lastly is the Venari bonesmith with the poison and life leech abilities.

I really don't know why he came with level 1 summoner and level one cards but he really choose it well, by giving all this cards the void ability, to make it interesting, he came with 2 healers and one card with the silence ability which put us in the same category when he reduce my attacks but since the amplify will increase the damage done back, it give me more advantage against him because his cards health are really low and I was able to win the battle free and fair.
