Withstanding An Explosive Weaponry Rule | The Tier Saver

The splinterlands battle mage theme for this week is kind of an interesting one and one of the rule set I kind of fear after noxious fume due to the blast ability it give all monster cards and this blast ability when played dealt extra damage to any cards on the adjacent position, that was my main fear, the users that attack first do kind of have higher advantage over the other so most times I use to use the speed strategy by using more swift based cards to increase my monster cards speed and attack first or I use higher health based monster cards which can withhold extra damages. In some cases, it always work really well and some users that know the logic started using those rules when every they have the explosive weaponry ruleset.

Things change when they brought in the reflection shield ability and the fear kind of reduce a little bit so I started using reflection shield cards more but finding cards with such ability is kind of rare unless you max some cards. This week rule set is the explosive weaponry and I had this battle with felipejoys with 48 mana capped and 3 rule sets, Fivealive which allow only 5 units in total, equalizer which equalize all monster health with the highest card health and lastly is the explosive weaponry which is the main rule set and to top it all we could pick between fire, water and death element so I decided to go with water element since we have enough mana cap.

I picked Sea monster with heal and thorn ability and since it is a max card it make it even more stronger, I need a reflection shield card in the second position so it can take in the extra blast damage which won't affect it so I used Water caller which also have a stun ability then I picked Djinn oshannus, this card is one of my top magic cards and I enjoy using it. I had to use Nerissa Tridawn because it have one strong health and 5 magic strength which will make the extra side damage more effective and lastly was Runemancer Kye which has Life leech among the abilities and that can make it more stronger in terms of health. Using high attack cards gave me this confidence but he surprised me with his formation

He came in with 2 sneak and one opportunity cards so he can attack me from back and middle position which seems cool and dangerous to me, with the sneaky card he destroy my back cards because his sneaky cards have strong attack but I was able to destroy his frontline cards and brought his sandworm forward if not, he will have higher chance in winning, So I stunned it which render it useless till I destroy it, and his striker with 5 strength only dealt 1 to oshannus because of the forcefield ability and everything became more easier when I destroy his last melee card and also his range card which cant attack in the front position and I won
