Zeddica | Tweaking My Strategy With Dual Based Summoner

The Splinterlands social media challenge for this week is slightly different from what we normally do and this week theme is really interesting because it is about sharing one of our battle for the week, a way to promote battle strategy and battle formation which will be of great use to anyone who need to know some details about monster cards and also rule set, had to go through some comment links to check out some battles, no knowledge is lost.

I actually love testing out cards especially the trending one that I find some opponent using through the top battles section, those battle can be really tempting at time and you will even feel like trying out those moves, that is where I do see how good some rebellion cards are. I try out Zeddica this week which is one of the dual based summoner for both water and death element which are my two favourite element and having a dual summoner for both make it more interesting, I brought the level 6 cards some week after it came out as a gold league player but later find out I need to levelled it to 7 if I really want it to perform at a gold max level, so currently I'm planning to get extra 50 bcx more which is around 22$ now, so i just decided to rent level 8 so I can use it in this particular battle.

When I saw this particular battle I had with Ghostik which has 28 manas with the Even stevens which all only even mana monster cards, True Aim which mean all attack will hit their target and lastly is the lost magic which prevent any magic card in this battle and to top it all. we could select any element, would have love to pick earth and use the summoner with the close range ability but I don't have it in my collection so I decided to use Zeddica just to pair both water and death together and pick a perfect combo, first is my healing card Cursed Windeku with the thorn ability to dealt damage back then support it with shadow snitch mainly because of the affliction ability just to prevent my opponent frontline from healing his frontline. I need a middle low health destroyer so I picked Deepluker with both opportunity and poison ability, since it is a no magic battle he might bring in more range cards and I need to really reduce his range attack so i picked Naga Windmaster with the headwinds and shatter ability, picked kulu swimhunter and lastly furious chicken, then I submitted the battle.

He came prepared but I didn't use too much range because he reduce both my range and speed by -1 and I also reduce his range attack by -1 to make it even but he had more speed than me so he attacked first and almost put me at a disadvantage and quickly strike down 3 of my backline cards but the game change when I destroy all is melee and his range had to take the frontline position so I won the battle.

When it come to lost magic rule set because I choose my strategy based on lost magic, it is really good to find ways to reduce your opponent attacks by using headwinds to reduce range attack and demoralize if possible to reduce melee attack, also using opportunity and sneak cards are also important and like wise prevent healing by using affliction and you are good to go.
