Hello Splinterlands community and Merry Xmas in advance to you all welcome!! to a new post on my social media challenge.It is an undisputable fact that low-mana cards most times are unfavourable in battles, causing them to in turn be unfavoured by players when it comes to choosing team lineup in battles,this obviously is considredable, because they mostly always come with stats that may not be of the best advantage to a players. I am going to discuss my experience with using low-Mana card since my battling in Splinterlands as a new player, i would also be talking about my honest thoughts and reviews on the cards i consider the best low-Mana cards to have\invest in in your Splinterlands card collection "at least those i have tried out so far" i am also going to highlight the advantages of these low mana cards. Low-Mana Cards Highlights

Low-mana monster cards come with versatile abilities and perks these monsters that comes in category when it comes to spontaneinity, sneakiness and opportunities and contribute massively in winning battles.

• Low-mana cards are very great supporting team players they can offer real assist to tank and front-liner monster cards.

• Low-mana cards are very powerful in their abilities and they can bring about a massive game change in a battle.

• They have opportunity perks in their stats that equally vary in effectiveness according to battle rulesets.

• Low-mana cards when choosen strategically enable great battle play-out when battling in a low-mana cap battle.

My Favourite Low-Mana cards

My opinion in rating these cards is going to be based on base cards available to all players,from capabilites to perks and strategy of
use in battles.

• Elemental- Death 💀
• Mana cap-3
• Card Edition- Choas legion
• Health- 2
• speed- 2
• attack-1 magic attack
• Special ability- Life leech &Redemption

LIFE SAPPER- This is a very unique card in the death elemental with an ability to sap life (Health) from opponent team when dealing damage which increases its own health, it has a mana cap of 3 which literally makes this card a perfect card to be used in a low mana cap battles, i have used this card in most battles and the abilities and contribution as really impressed me over times, the magic attack ability enables it break through shield protection of opponents.

how to use?

• life sapper can be used in the different strategy format as i have mention of its unique ability, its special ability to draw and increase its own health from opponents is a big gem in a battle.

• Mana cost- 3
• Card Edition- Choas legion
• Health- 1
• speed- 3
• attack- 2 melle attack
• Special ability- Opportunity Ability

SERPENTINE SPY- The Serpetine Spy is among the best cards of the fire element with its fast paced perk when serpentine spy is paired with summoner Tarsa in a lineup would get bump up its melee attack to extra 1 giving it a total melee attack of 3 , this enable serpentine spy to deal accurate hit when placed in the back position within the lineup without missing, the opportunity ability takes out opponent monsters with low health point.

how to use?

• with a low health point of 1, it can come across as disadvantages to a player in battles, especially in a very low mana cap battle, but placing this card in the 3rd position* would be beneficial especially if opponent team has target last man target ability to it. because one hit takes out serpentine spy.

*another way to use is to be victorious in battles is to use along with monster card with ability to bump up team monster stats, Lets say Serpentine Spy get a bump to its shield, this would be beneficial to allow Serpentine Spy attack as many times as possible depending on the perks of opponents monsters .

*low mana battle is a good way way to use serpentine spy.

• Special ability- Protect, cleanse, tank

TRUTH SPEAKER- This card does not attack but gives all team monsters 2 shield, and is very good against element monsters with no magic attack, it would protect cards as long as it stays in the game bumping up team monsters shield. The main strategy for allowing this protect ability to shine is based on positioning of it and other monster in the lineup

how to use?

• Truth Speaker is best to be placed in the 4th of 5th position of a battle, this is so as to guarantee its remaining in the battle to keep the shield bump to other team monster,depending on the opponents monster ability the truth speaker would progress in battle with this positioning.

• Rarity- Uncommon
• Card Edition- untamed
• Health- 4
• speed- 2
• Special ability- magic reflect, Demoralize, Strengthen

FAILED SUMMONER- This card with health of 4 is a very great low mana cards to substitute in a low mana cap battles, with its magic reflect ability which enables it deal reverse damage to opponents with magic attack it can help to take out monster cards with low health quickly.

how to use?

• Failed summoner is best to be placed in the second position monster on a line up, considering the fact that among the low mana cards it is one with a high-end health point it can stall a battle allowing back-line monster with attack abilities to take several turns dealing damage.

MERDAALI GUARDIAN - - Save the best for the last, the merdaali guardian is one of my absolute favourite card to use in splinterlands, i have choosen this card in several battles for different reasons everytime depeding on rulset of game, and it has come through for my battle ,

how to use?

*The merdaali guardian is a very favourable card to use in low mana cap battles as it cost only 3 mana to summon its ability to repeatedly heal tank monsters is a big advantage, it unfortunately does not attack on its own but does a good job at keeping your front line tank in the games for as long as possible

CONCLUSION

I have highlighted the good of low mana cards in battles and some favourite of mine, but realistically, when choosing low mana cards a couple of major things should be considered for the best strategy and effectiveness of these cards in a battle.

Battle Mana cap- This is very important to consider before choosing the low mana card to use in a battle because the number of mana cap a bttle is dependent on the strategy and positioning of you cards in a line up

Ruleset of Battles- this is another major thing to consider as well because, the ruleset for a battle also plays huge role in card selection and strategy too.
