Battle Mage Secrets: Aim True - The First of Many

Hello everybody, how is it going? It's time again for Share Your Battle.
Wait... There is no more Share Your Battle this week as it has been retired.

With that, it has now become Battle Mage Secrets, which aims to test player's strategic skills and see how we adapt our lineup to meet the different rule set encountered during the battles we have be it during ranked or brawl.

To be honest, sometimes fate amuses us, when we need a match with a specific rule set, it just doesn't appear which cause us pushing hard on the ECR in order to encounter one.

The ruleset of the challenge this week is: Aim True.

Aim True
Melee and Ranged attacks always hit their target.

Abilities/Cards that get shutdown with this rule set
With this rule set, abilities such as flying, dodge and blind become useless as it is a guaranteed hit from melee and ranged attack.

What thrives with this ruleset?
Big damage, big health and fast speed. Big damage because it is a guaranteed hit, big health to sustain and fast speed in order to strike first to secure win.

With these in mind, let's start to talk about the battle proper.

Prediction before pressing rumble
Pelacor Conjurer, a pesky card. High speed and flying. But in a match with Aim True, it will not survive long. I have a faster lineup fielded as well with some protection here and there to soak up damage. Let's rumble!

Battle Synopsis

Round 1, Pelacor Arbalest taken out by Silent Sha-vi, Pelacor Conjurer smashed by Soul Strangler, Celestial Harpy dissipated by Corpse Fiend and finally Herbalist vanquished by Wily Coyotian. Wow, fast and deadly.

Round 2, Zenith Archer life stolen by Life Sapper and Soul Strangler lands the finishing hit on Venari Crystalsmith to secure the win.

Post Battle Summary
Really fast completion to the battle, the faster speed on my lineup indeed helped me. Pelacor Conjurer on my opponent lineup become a sitting duck to just take damage with no chance of dodging any attack.

Did my strategy work? Yes it did. Like I mentioned earlier before the battle, while speed did not help in dodging, hitting first become important because there will be no mishit, every hit will count.

What's the Battle Mage Secret? Fast and hard hitting wins the battle. If not for Sha-vi sneak landing fast, I would have been destroyed by Pelacor Arbalest double strikes. Remember not to hope to dodge, just smash for the win and smash it fast.
