Battle Sharing: An Interesting Brawl Match To Share

Prelude
Good day to all, how are you doing lately? I have been away for a week to take a break due to some recent things that happened in the workplace and at the same time, I very much needed a timeout so as to keep my mental state in check before I explode on anyone. With that good rest, I am now back to the community. While this break will definitely take a toll in my HP accumulation, the rest had help me to recharge myself and come back stronger.

In today's sharing, it will be on a brawl match that I seen on a recent brawl that I had which I really wanted to share with the community as it really went neck to neck till almost the very last moment.

A Neck to Neck Battle

Sometimes when we put ourselves to the test, we often thought we can at least capture a good advantage over our opponent, however, there are times when we both field something that is evenly matched and the unravelling of each round becomes such an excitement. So this is what the match is about today, so let's get right to the match proper.

Selection Analysis
In today's matchup, there were 4 splinter choices available to us for this match: fire, water, life and dragon. In the case, I preferred to use Life so that I can make use of the Ulund Bloodline Dominion skill where Ulunds get shield to better my changes of surviving the incoming onslaught of attacks.

To lead the lineup it will be Bella Ratajowlski, life ulund bloodline archon, giving every single ulund shield to keep melee/range damage low while giving everyone else deflection shied to curb against any form of return damage like thorns. To lead the lineup, I used Pixie Knife Hurler which is an Ulund and range attacker with close range. Next in the lineup because it is a brawl match, I get to use Marisol Contuma which is a super fast card with strong attack and armour. Follow is Janni Rebel that further inspires the lineup for 1 additional melee damage while being able to strike for 2 magic attack. I have used Meriput Magician in this lineup so that the front tanks can be healed to sustain them sufficiently. In the rear are two Ulund cards, Mystic Mudbinder and Calabash Sage, one is a magic attacker while the other is a range attacker. Both of which were planned to endure the crazy attacks that will come from the rear.

Opponent on the other hand came with Kavor Skarn, dragon splinter archon for drakoshan bloodline, giving drakoshan one additional speed. Leading my opponent lineup is Janni Rebel which is the ame as I had fielded just that opponent have it at position 1 instead of me putting it in the middle. Opponent also used Marisol Contuma at position 2, a very strong gladius card. Following is Dragon Egg Forager that is equipped with opportunity and this is a drakoshan card and will get the speed boost. Next up is Skyspire Leopard which gets the sneak imbued. The next card is Silverleaf Ranger which I commonly use in elf lineup for the execute and last but not least, 14 mana card, Dar Gottem Gearnut which has trample and also the sneak.

Quite frankly, my opponent's lineup looked really intimidating especially with the Dar Gottem Gearnut. Hopefully the Ulunds can hold up.

Round by Round Synopsis

Round 1 - We are off to a flying start as there is just so much punishment that is being dished out in such a match. In this round there were already serious casualties with me losing Calabash Sage in the rear while opponent lost their Janni Rebel.

Round 2 - Contrary to the pace that was set in the first round, everything slowed down and there were no casualties for this round but I do see that I manage to wear down the health of opponent's Marisol but Dar Gottem Gearnut still looks relatively unscathed.

Round 3 - Opponent's Marisol managed to score a kill and grew due to blood lust but thankfully my lineup had sufficient magic attackers to clear it even without smashing its armour. My backline is looking worrying with the consistent bombardment. Now it is a race against the front line of my lineup vs the backline of my opponent's.

Round 4 - More pressure as I manage to clear off almost everything in my opponent lineup while losing Mystic Mudbinder. I am seeing a high chance of opponent clearing me from the rear while I storm the front.

Round 5-7 - After disposing Silverleaf Ranger, it was round after round of pounding Dar Gottem Gearnut till we finally take down this massive card with a crazily high health.

Battle Summary
I certainly enjoyed the match, seeing how the lineups progressed into chasing the front and rear. Opponent really had a good lineup that can actually win the match if not for the delay from the Ulund I have in my lineup to hold them up and reduce the impact be it from the front or rear.
