Prelude
Good day to all, how are you doing lately? It's Resurrection Weekend and hope that you are having a restful time with your families. I am back again to share battles that I fight strong opponents or times when my lineup give me a nice surprise to helping me overcome my opponent. And today, I will be sharing how Dwarf dominion bloodline ability helped me fend off my opponent for a nice win.

Dwarf Bloodline Dominion Ability: Void

Playing Dwarf Bloodline with Dwarf Archon and Dwarf cards, I will be able to access the bloodline dominion ability of void onto the dwarves which will allow me stronger resistance against magic attackers and strike back before opponents are able to get a foothold over me.

And this will be showcased in the matchup below:

Selection Analysis
In today's matchup, there were only 2 splinter choices available to us for this match: fire and dragon. And since it is keep your distance, I will be expecting loads of magic attackers to fill the lineup so definitely fire will be my choice because I will want extra survivability through void from the bloodline dominion of dwarves.

To lead the lineup it will be Fithe Bladestone, fire dwarf bloodline archon, giving every single dwarf void which will significantly fend off magic attacks from opponent magic attackers and for every card in the lineup, 2 extra armour. To lead the lineup, I used Ulundin Overseer which is a super meat shield though it does not have any attack. In position 2, I used Arcane Skinwalker which has shapeshift, so it will be able to get the void as it becomes a dwarf. The next card is Mindless Thrall that strike for 2 magic attack and has phase. The card that follows is Chaos Evoker that comes with blast to make the damage hurt more. Though there are no melee attackers to demoralize, I still chose to go with Emberguard for the 2 magic attack and the cap the rear, it wll be Swiftbeard Stout with the taunt.

Opponent on the other hand came with Dolfar Darflak, dual coloured archon for death and fire. Leading my opponent's lineup as tank is Nimbledook Scout that has backfire. Thankfully I had a couple of magic attacker and shouldn't be worried about backfire. Next is Kha'zi Fire Mage with dodge and scattershot. The next card is a high hitting Infernal Firestorm that strikes for 3 magic damage. Opponent also used Ulundin Overseer but being weapon trained by Moxian Rebel, which is the next card, to gain 1 magic attack. And last but not least, Nalara Geinek at the rear with silence to reduce my magic attack by 1.

While I had void, opponent also came prepared with silence.

Let's see how things go about in the match.

Round by Round Synopsis

Round 1 - Projectiles just flew right through and we saw Nimbledook Scout falling this round while my whole lineup still in tact. Swiftbeard Stout holding well against all the magic bombardment.

image.png

Round 2 - Another round and we manage to disposed another card this time round being Kha'zi Fire Mage. And the lineup still held strong with cards now unable to hurt my rear and we need to take down Infernal Firestorm quick.

image.png

Round 3-4 - Things went on a status quo where we push hard to take out Infernal Firestorm and now we are left with a massive Ulundin Overseer and 2 more cards to settle.

image.png

Round 5-7 - Through the various attacks and blast, we manage to clear off Ulundin Overseer and Moxian Rebel by round 7 and down to the final card. Still no major impact to the lineup.

image.png

Round 8-9 - Everything was settled in round 9 though I did have a casualty of Ulundin Overseer whom fell but considering the amount of damage it took, it did really well to sustain for so long.

Battle Summary
With the void imbued on Swiftbeard Stout, I was able to hold on to all the magic punishment that my opponent pushed onto me and help buy time for everyone else to clear off my opponent cards. So if you expect large amount of magic attacks, why not give dwarf bloodline a try and see how they block out all these magic attacks.

Excelente batalla! Fue genial ver cómo la habilidad Void de los Enanos neutralizó el ataque mágico de tu oponente. Una estrategia muy sólida para ese ruleset, ¡gracias por compartir
