Battle Sharing: Razi Clanktrap Going The Distance

Prelude
Good day to all, how are you doing this lovely weekend and it is time for another battle sharing where I go up against tough cards, tough matches or share how certain abilities give strong advantage to win. Today, I will be sharing how Razi Clanktrap will allow you to go the distance.
Going The Distance

Going The Distance Ruleset: You can only summon units with ranged attacks.
And in today's matchup, this is the main ruleset that needs to be worked on. Range cards have a downside of no longer being able to attack when at first position. So to overcome this, I call upon Razi Clanktrap.

This card defies the biggest problem that all range card face, giving the whole lineup close range, which enables range card at position 1 to still attack.
And let's go right into today's battle sharing.

Selection Analysis
In today's matchup, there were only 2 splinter choices available to us for this match, namely death and earth. But because of going the distance, I definitely need to consider and use death splinter for Razi Clanktrap.
To lead the lineup it will be Razi Clanktrap, gnome bloodline archon from death splinter. This card is just the key card to make your lineup come alive and capitalize what your opponent do not have on their range attackers, the ability to strike from close range. And since it is equalizer as well, we can also afford to use some smaller mana cards to fill the lineup while using the big mana ones as main bruisers. To lead the lineup, I had something that had a tonne load of armour in Death Ranger and void armour in case of any cards that carry double attack with magic serving as the tank. Next will be Thraghun which is capable to launch a melee attack from 2nd position since it has dual attack and also striking with range attack as well. Following which is Bristleback Brigand which is a low cost card that has snipe. Next will be a hard hitting card from foundation, Black Widow which is a rather decent card that can be used in modern. The following 2 cards are the bruiser, Meriput Slinger and Chaos Battle Mage. Both equipped with 3 range attack, Meriput with impede and Chaos Battle Mage with piercing. Both are great and able to gain us significant advantage.
Opponent used elf bloodline earth splinter archon Kaylia Silverleaf which can do execute and also reduces the magic attack from my side by 1. In terms of tank, it is Decrepit Windseer which is meant as a sacrifice to boost up the stats of elves with the bloodline tribute but surprisingly, no other elves in the lineup. Next in the lineup is Giam Root which give strengthen for 1 more health to the lineup. Following which is Grimward Ruinshot with 2 range attack and Sylvaran Sentinel with 3 range attack and slow. Another 2 range attackers fill up the final 2 slots Wilhelmdale Deputy and Gobson Sniper.
A battle of archers, will the brute force from my opponent overpower mine? Or that first position attack is key to victory? Let find out through the battle synopsis.
Round by Round Synopsis
Round 1 - A very expected round 1 where the only casualty came from opponent's Decrepit Windseer but unfortunately, no card benefitted as there were no other elves.

Round 2 - Giam Root and Death Ranger fell but the advantage is still on my side as my lineup continue to add pressure through Thraghun leading the attack from the front.

Round 3 - Thraghun continue to smash from the front and supported by the bruisers, another card from opponent side fell.

Round 4 - 6, The cycle repeats and we clear opponent's card one by one till the last one standing also fell with Thraghun still holding strong. A strong win that was well deserved.
Battle Summary
As mentioned, if we are able to fix the flaw of range attackers through enabling them to strike at first position, it will greatly bring benefit to the whole lineup as every card will still be useful rather than becoming sitting duck when they reach position 1.
