Hi all, good day to all of you. It's time again for Community Engagement Challenge. Today's topic is on Thanksgiving Tribute since it is Thanksgiving season. What a nice timing for this topic as we move towards the end of the year and look at the things or people that we can give thanks.

Thanksgiving Tribute

People - Splinterlands Team
To start off this post, I will be talking about people and the first group of people I would like to give thanks to the people who brought about Splinterlands - Splinterlands Team.

This is because they have worked tirelessly and brought about many new things this year and I am really thankful for that.

First and foremost, we saw the shake up in the modern gameplay this year with the introduction of Conclave Arana set, which displaced the massive Chaos Legion set which brought us loads of fun over the years. And with the introduction of Conclave Arcana, new mechanics which involved bloodlines are being introduced, giving way more variations and flexibility to how we strategize. This new bloodline mechanic brought about so many new strategies when cards of different colour splinter but of same bloodline can come together and showcase their solidarity.

Next is the introduction of Frontier mode. This is probably one of the best thing that happened that can help new players go right into the game. Foundation cards can be earned from campaign and subsequently earned via winning frontier matches. And this effectively can jump start the Splinterlands journey for new players. Not to mention, some of these foundation cards are really good.

On top of all these, new reward cards, new rulesets and also a new land updated released certainly injected so much life to Splinterlands, not forgetting survival mode and the new practice modes to allow us to improve ourselves. So many new things, new modes, new cards and we even saw the arrival of black foil that looked awesome and the holographic arcane foils.

All these are fruits of the team's labour and definitely a job well done!

People - PIZZA 2 Guild and Metafrens Buddies
While we are a little lean already with fewer actives, I still want to that those whom have been consistently keeping close to their attendance and turning up for every brawl. And among them are people from Metafrens discord whom I have known since the start of my Splinterlands journey.

We have definitely came a long way and it has been 3 yers and counting since @relf87 and I joined this guild. So many amazing memories and tonnes of support rendered to me throughout the years.

And following through, next will be key cards that been instrumental in my growth for the year.

Cards - Quora Towershead

The almighty brawl superstar Quora. Ever since I owned a copy of her, she had been always coming up on tops and helping me to win so many brawl matches, turning tides from tough ones or just ram through whatever defence that my opponent put up. Absolutely a gem in my collection that have been such a key contributor.

Cards - Halfling Refugee

The value tank that always creeps up in my lineup whenever I need to ration on the mana available to me. Ever reliable even when it doesn't hit due to fatigue effect set in. This 1 mana wonderkid is just so good that can just buy me enough time for my backline to start counter attacking.

Cards - Shock Trooper

Another crazy high damage high side effect card that have been present in my water splinter lineup. Whenever you need a massive magic boom, this card is there. 4 or 5 magic attack, something will just give way. Though it has its side effects, this card just performs and won me so many battles.

The above 3 cards are used so often by me and I can never thank them enough for their amazing contribution to get me to where I am now.

Wrap Up
There are so many amazing that happened this year and I could not say enough thanks especially to the people that developed the game and of course my buddies whom I battle together brawl after brawl. It is definitely a year of amazing growth for the game and every single player in the community have done their part by staying in the game and continue giving their support.
