PIZZA 2 Brawl Report - 13 Mar 2024

Greetings to all, a brawl had concluded for PIZZA 2, we are just fresh off the completion of a guild brawl and in the midst of matching for the new brawl. Another tough brawl for me with many strong players playing in the fray I played in. And I would like to share with you what went on for the last brawl PIZZA 2 had where I personally had loads of lesson learnt.

Since the start of Rebellion introduction, I have now changed my brawl fray to Fray 4 for my guild which is the fray that uses only Chaos Legion and Rebellion Card. Started this not too long ago and I am still trying to understand more on the Rebellion cards. Without further ado, here's how everything went.

Brawl 1

Remarks
Selection:Enough mana to field Quora, hence trusting Quora to win the match
Outcome:Win. Decent start to the brawl with the first vicory.

Remarks
Selection:Range card alone, so I reduce opponent power and also fielded a healer along with it.
Outcome:Win. The lineup contained just enough debuffing and also a healer to ensure the Gargoya Devil healthy.

Brawl 3

Remarks
Selection:I prepared a lineup with sufficient firepower, debuff and also additional defence protection for more armour.
Outcome:Win. A well rounded team that takes care of both the offence and defence helped secured the victory.

Remarks
Selection:I was really focused on doing sufficient damage but did not watch out that this is a Noxious fumes ruleset, I am a little worried with the cards I fielded as the health portion is on the low side.
Outcome:Lose. A bad lineup fielded by me because I was blinded to focus only on the offensive part of it but miss out on the low health.

Remarks
Selection:In this match, I prepared my double Martyr combo alongside Isglad to lead with the opportunity strikes.
Outcome:Win. Double martyr still works well and the magic damage tore my opponent apart due to additional sustainability provided by Merdaali Guardian.

Remarks
Selection:I put up a heavy attack lineup and hope the lineup will support enough damage and have enough sustain with the flying of my backline.
Outcome:Win. This lineup effectively is the heaviest I've got when I use Death and Dragon together. Drybone Raider from my opponent is ever so dangerous.

Remarks
Selection:For this, I tried my luck and decided to field 2 Gladius cards to see if it is still effective.
Outcome:Lose. I am literally very stunned because this match went south after so many stuns happening and my cards were rendered helpless becoming sitting ducks.

Remarks
Selection:With the reach, I fielded Coastal Sentry to capitalize on the double attack and I used Justice Noa to remove armour for better effectiveness of melee.
Outcome:Lose. This is crazy, Captain Katie just grew bigger and bigger then turn the tide against me when I was on the verge of winning.

Guild Final Tally

I am assigned 8 matches this brawl and only managed to win all 5 out of the 8 matches. While it is more than 50% win rate, I am not exactly happy as I did one bad play and the other 2 which I lost, I thought I had more chances of winning less the crazy stun and the reversal from Captain Katie.

The good thing is, the guild had did relatively well and secured a rank 2 in this brawl. I think it is a good achievement with a very decent number of wins. Way to go guys. Go PIZZA 2!

Closing
A lot to reflect in terms of lineup for me and also to be more careful tactically for better win results. All in all, still a good brawl! See you next brawl!
