PIZZA 2 Brawl Report - 20 Mar 2024

Greetings to all, a brawl had concluded for PIZZA 2, we are just fresh off the completion of a guild brawl and in the midst of matching for the new brawl which we can start filling up the lineup. Brawls somehow getting a little tougher with opponents really coming up with new ideas and catch me off guard. But it's good as it will be a good learning experience for me.

Since the start of Rebellion introduction, I have now changed my brawl fray to Fray 4 for my guild which is the fray that uses only Chaos Legion and Rebellion Card. Started this not too long ago and I am still trying to understand more on the Rebellion cards. Without further ado, here's how everything went.

Brawl 1

	Remarks
Selection:	Pushing my luck a little with this equalizer ruleset match. By right I should flood my lineup with various small card to capitalize the benefit of this ruleset, but today I just go all out and hope Quora wins me the match.
Outcome:	Win. Quora probably is one of the few that can single handedly take down the maatch with her abilities and double attack.

Brawl 2

	Remarks
Selection:	In this match, I again took a gamble to field a lineup that I would normally use in a non brawl setting. Now I am up against 2 Gladius, I am not sure I am able to get the win.
Outcome:	Win! This is totally not expected due to the Gladius cards. A steady and consistent output from my side ensured the victory.

	Remarks
Selection:	I gave it my all in terms of what I can field for Death Splinter. But little did know, opponent came with very strong cards and with a summoner that can choose ability.
Outcome:	Lose. My goodness, that 2 cards really make it so difficult for me. And the 4 magic attack is no joke. Something for me to research on.

Brawl 4

	Remarks
Selection:	Simple match selection for magic only, so I added all I needed for the lineup. From the Triage combo with Izaiar, tank heal on Sola Ranjell and of course the ever dangerous Captain Katie.
Outcome:	Win. My multi purpose team with abilities came up on top with all angles covered.

Brawl 5

	Remarks
Selection:	Back to Basics, so what I did was to stack up health and armour hoping to outlast my opponent.
Outcome:	Win. Stats stacking works and progressively take out opponent's card one by one.

Brawl 6

	Remarks
Selection:	Melee Mayhem, load up all the fast hitters or double strikers to capitalize the ruleset. Else prepare some protect to endure at least 1 round because attacks will start flying.
Outcome:	Win. Careful planning with some protection and appropriate attackers helped to secure the victory of the match.

Guild Final Tally

I am assigned 6 matches this brawl and only managed to win all 5 out of the 8 matches. The numbers don't tally, where did that extra 3 win come from? What's going on?

After much understanding from discussing with fellow players, this phenomena is due to opposing guild has frays not filled and it become auto win when it is left empty. Not complaining for extra wins. But today, there is one match that I met new cards, so time to look into it and understand the card more.

Oh my, we are down to rank 5. Reason for such is due to the higher number of frays that go unfilled which count as a win for other guilds. So what are you waiting for? Closing
