PIZZA 2 Brawl Report - 30 May 2024

Greetings to all, we are fresh off a brawl that just concluded for PIZZA 2 and I am looking forward to the next brawl. With the newest way wins are calculated, participation is a key now to help win 50% of the brawl, by filling, half the battle is done rather than giving away free wins to opponents.

Since the start of Rebellion introduction, I have now changed my brawl fray to Fray 4 for my guild which is the fray that uses only Chaos Legion and Rebellion Card. Started this not too long ago and I am still trying to understand more on the Rebellion cards. Without further ado, let's get started and see how the brawl went.

Brawl 1

	Remarks
Selection:	Armoured up, Keep Your Distance and Aim True. Because of the armour, I choose to use a magic lineup since magic bypasses any form of armour and directly hit the opponent health.
Outcome:	Win! It is effective on the win especially with Izair taunting all the damage.

Brawl 2

	Remarks
Selection:	Equal opportunity and Even Stevens. So in this, I choose to enable 2 Gladius card as both of them are even mana and on top of that, I have many cards to complement in terms of tanking, protect and heal.
Outcome:	Win! Katrelba and Quora doing what they are good at, doing tonne of damage to get bigger and tear down everyone in sight before securing the win.

Brawl 3

	Remarks
Selection:	Blood and Sunder, No Magic and also Equalizer, so I put all my small health cards that do good damage and also put in 2 Gladius with strong attacking frontline.
Outcome:	Lose. Opponent Grund and Katrelba on fire and my side was wean down due to the thorns on Lioceros which is really painful.

Brawl 4

	Remarks
Selection:	Four cards, no magic and only up to rare cards. I learnt my lesson from previous brawls, the Drybone Barbarian is a super good car in such context so I put it into the lineup.
Outcome:	Lost. Again I underestimated this match because one single big card might not be the way to sustain in such matches. Another miscalculation that could have avoided the loss.

Guild Final Tally

I am assigned 5 matches this brawl and managed to win all 3 out of the 5 matches (which included one that escaped). Due to poorer participation from other guild, I get another 3 free win. For the 2 matches that I lost, both were good play by my opponent as they knew the ruleset well and put in the right cards to get their win, good job there and I will neeed to learn from this.

Unfortunately, we still ended up at rank 4 for this brawl. The number of wins that we have is way off from the top 3 with a shortfall of at least 34 wins. This is a clear sign that our fray filling is very poor, instead of clocking wins, we end up giving away free wins. Fellow PIZZA 2 members, let's continue to fill up the frays to the best we can fill. I know we can do better and know we have done this before. Let's push on and do our best! Go PIZZA 2!

Closing
