PIZZA 2 Brawl Report - 6 Apr 2024

Greetings to all, we are fresh off a brawl that just concluded for PIZZA 2, it's time to share on the latest brawl result. Brawls are always something that I look forward to, it is great fun competing with other players and also continue to learn more about game strategies to better our gameplay.

Since the start of Rebellion introduction, I have now changed my brawl fray to Fray 4 for my guild which is the fray that uses only Chaos Legion and Rebellion Card. Started this not too long ago and I am still trying to understand more on the Rebellion cards. Without further ado, here's how everything went.

Brawl 1

	Remarks
Selection:	Thorns and no armour, so the best way is to use a non melee lineup. I put up my usual taunt lineup with Quora leading and a martyr card to further improve the stats of Quora upon being killed
Outcome:	Lose. I am honestly humbled. Iziar was truly good and Drybone Barbarian just pummelled Quora with one might hit and everything went south. Thankfully I have Iziar and I can deploy such a lineup in the future.

Brawl 2

	Remarks
Selection:	Debut for Jini Guise for this Little League match and first time deploying double protect with Queen Mycelia. Let's see if this strategy will work and let Jini bring home a debut win.
Outcome:	Win! Not bad for a start, there is a rhythm as well Jini, Queen then the front attacker to take out card by card. A good debut win for Jini.

Brawl 3

	Remarks
Selection:	Even Stevens with no armour, so I deployed double Gladius with Grund leading the chase with a double strike and the remaining were cards usual magic attackers with 1 range.
Outcome:	Lost. The Venari Knifer at the back of the lineup was an absolute problem for me. It shut down my Katrelba and allowed opponent Katrelba to grow and finally take me out from the back.

Brawl 4

	Remarks
Selection:	Surprisingly I felt there was no need for me to field a Gladius card in the match. I just fielded what I could and have a repair in the backline to allow the big guns to hit from the front. Kulu Mastermind creates 2 more heavy hitting melee attackers.
Outcome:	Win! A simple 3 round showdown with Baakjira just holding the fort and the backline just had fun demolishing card after card. Kulu Mastermind really smack hard on many cards and bring home the win with 0 casualties.

Brawl 5

	Remarks
Selection:	Thorns and no healing, so the way to go is again attack barrage with non melee cards. Again I added a martyr right at front to make Nerissa crazier.
Outcome:	Win! A simple win but just brute force magic slamming between the 3 magic attackers with Swamp Spitter continuing the barrage as well. Good win with only martyr card dying to give the boost.

Guild Final Tally

I am assigned 5 matches this brawl and managed to win 3 out of the 5 matches. Also I did have an extra 3 more wins coming from unfilled spots from other guilds. In the 2 games that I've lost, I have been outsmarted by my opponents with careful placement of their backline, one with a great taunt card and one with a thorns card. They were good play and good lessons for me to take back and learn from.

In this brawl, the number of wins were significantly lower than last one and we definitely need more people to fill up the frays in our brawls so that we do not give free wins to opponents. Nevertheless, good effort from the guild members, keep fighting and let's get back on the podium soon. Go PIZZA 2!
