PIZZA 2 Brawl Report - 8 Jan 2026

Greetings everyone, hope you had a good week so far. The latest brawl that my guild PIZZA 2 participated in had ended about a day ago and it is time again to look at how our guild did for this brawl on all aspects such as a guild, individually how each of the brawl matches went for me and the thoughts and decisions made behind how I setup each lineup against all the opponents that I am facing in the brawl and how I adjusted each lineup to we get the most out of each ruleset.

Right now my focus and fray to be competing in will be the ones with Conclave Arcana and Rebellion which is either fray 4 or 5. I started gathering more Conclave Arcana and Rebellion cards so as to strengthen my modern ranked battle games and at the same time, will allow me more versatility to handle each ruleset and hopefully these cards can help me a little in the brawls. To consistently remind myself, I cannot be just using the same old cards at the same level without growth as other players will grow and become stronger. So let's get right on with the brawl report.

Brawl 1

	Remarks
Selection:	What Doesn't Kill You, Thorns and Even Stevens. For me, the plan is to use the deflection given by the archon to get rid of the thorns damage so it will be filled with rather melee based cards to lead the charge.
Outcome:	Lose. Not sure why I was so engrossed in not having thorns return damage but forget to use Quora in the lineup. Opponent used Quora and it gotten the best of me as they cleared me out. Bad choice from me in this matchup.

	Remarks
Selection:	Blood And Sunder. Lesson learnt from previous match, when able to use Quora just use. I slotted another card behind her since I had one more mana.
Outcome:	Win! Opponent used a lone Quora and we breeze through them and clear house.

	Remarks
Selection:	Aim True. Loads of mana for us to play around, I went with something that is reliable, Captain Katie and supported by repair and heal to make the lineup more complete..
Outcome:	Win! Opponent had a super crazy melee lineup but my lineup with loads of magic attackers was just enough to sherpherd them own and secure the win.

	Remarks
Selection:	High 5. Simple ruleset just limited the upper limit of card selected. This time round I had Thanalorian Blade to support Quora since it can fit directly in.
Outcome:	Win! Obsidian Auora really give an edge over opponent since it has 1 more magic attack and can make your attacks more lethal. And with this, opponent also had Quora but archon made the difference.

Brawl 5

	Remarks
Selection:	Fog of war, taking side and global warming. Unable to health, I change it to a fast game strategy to strike fast and let opponent burn.
Outcome:	Lose. While I had what I wanted planned, but the seriously high amount of health my opponent had helped them to secure a win where they outlasted us.

Brawl 6

	Remarks
Selection:	Taking sides. This is easy as. We are overwhelmed since i can use elves across mutuple colours.
Outcome:	Win! Opponent only fielded 2 cards while I put up many whom are able to strike twice thanks to archon ability.

Guild Final Tally

This brawl I am assigned 6 matches and I managed to win 4 of them, lost 2 and having no opponent fleeing. Unfortunately, I had 2 badly placed lineups and ended up being careless and lost the match.

For this brawl, we are placed 7. Not very good as our lose count is on the rise. I think we really need to study each match so as to find out what went wrong, adjust our play style and strike for the best. Keep brawling as each new brawl arrives. Go PIZZA 2!

Closing
Fewer people participate within the guild for 4 brawls counting and it is taking a toll on our SPS earned and ranking. Hopefully our buddies will come back and participate with us to help us clock in more wins and better rewards.
