Hello everybody, it's time again for Share Your Battle. A little late this week due to my busyness but nevertheless, here I am once again.

Thoughts on Supply Runner

This is the image that comes to my mind when I look at any Supply Runner card.

Yes, you didn't see wrong. To me, supply runner are the very much behind the scenes workers whom make things work for everyone else. Ensuring everything is in place. Will Supply Runner in Splinterlands do the same?

Let's examine the base stats of Lvl 1 Supply Runner.

Bronze League - Speed + 1, Health +1
Silver League - Swiftness
Gold League - Attack + 1, Speed +1
Beyond Gold - Strengthen

Supply runner is a rather fast card which gets faster as it levels up. Not forgetting it gains team abilities such as swiftness and strengthen.

Both abilities showcase the team spirit and backbone behind the scenes efforts. Bring swiftness to the lineup, everyone gets to start faster and also swiftness boost every card viability in the matchup.

Opponent Lineup

• Position 2 - Shieldbearer
• Position 3 - Djinn Renova
• Position 4 - Prismologist
• Position 5 - Silvershield Sheri
• Position 6 - Portal Spinner

Prediction before pressing rumble
I am 4 mana short of filling up the lineup. Then as I look at opponent lineup, Prismologist and Silvershield Sheriff are both big hitters which essentially lowers my chance of winning. Effectively same concept for placing lineup but using different cards.

How will the fight turn out? There is only one way to find out.

Let's get ready to rumble
Round 1, Warrior of peace taken out and my shieldbearer health drops to 3. Everything else in tact.

Round 2, Both shieldbearers taken down and my Elven Defender is up against Renova from my opponent.

Round 3, Elven Defender and Renova, both taken down. Next frontline to take stage. I noticed something, I have exposed the range frontline of my opponent, which rendered the opponent front card unable to attack.

Round 4 and till the end, my remaining numbers are higher so with one immobile frontline card on my opponent slide, the rest was easy. Victory secured.

After Thoughts
Front loading heavy health and armour was the right thing to do and loading my backline with heavy artillery ensured I can hold off the front line sufficiently while the backline do sufficient damage to secure the victory.

This match while was to test out Supply Runner, we did not manage to see the full capability of Supply Runner because it is a level 1 variant which did not carry the team abilities. Given a chance, I will work on a level up Supply Runner to see how it carries the team to next level with its team abilities.

6 Mana Equivalent
With this being said, there are actually other 6 mana variant range monsters such as Mantoid (snipe) and Pelacor Arbalest (Double Attack). At lower levels, these are useful but Supply Runner will truly shine when it gains the team abilities.
