Social Media Challenge: Splinterlands Weekly + Brawl Report (Aug 5 - Aug 11)

Greetings everyone, hope everyone is doing fine. It's time to check my progress in the game and the latest brawl that I had with PIZZA 2.

Let's start things off with how my collection power increased since the last update. This there is EOS.

Looking at things, in order for me to have more focus chest to obtain more cards, the key is to rent up so that focus points can be maximized.

Say for example: if we are at Silver 3 CP rating, in order to maximize the focus point, to rent up to Silver 1 CP so that we can get max Focus Points from that particular league. The only difficulty that I face will time to sit in front of the computer to get good value rents for big amount of CP. So will need to seek opportunity to increase CP through opening Gladius packs or even using earned DEC to snap off some cards from the market. With that, the only way is to get more and more CP!

Alrite, time to brawl! Let's see how we fare and any possible lessons to be learnt this brawl.

Yikes, Rathe on my opponent side while I chose a heavy magic lineup. Going to be a tough fight.

Outcome: Win! With the ruleset, my magic squad manage to dispose the whole of my opponent team from the back while my gladius hang on at front with the healing from Goblin Psychic.

Hoping double life leech can do me magic again in this match. Let's go!

Outcome: Win. Not just life leech duo, whole team act together and secured the win.

Heal, triage, protect, Gladius tank. I am prepared, will it be enough to get the win?

Outcome: Win! As expected, we have all the elements to secure the win.

Interesting choice for my opponent for Gladius. I still fielded my Mr Chimney whom always have been very consistent.

Outcome: Win! Chinmey has fire in his eyes and take out his opponents that stands in his way and gets stronger with every kill.

Dang, Captain Katie again. Whenever I see it, I almost guarantee lose the match.

Outcome: Lose. Sigh, it happened again. But look above at the most recent Gladius pack that I opened. I myself have finally obtained a copy of Captain Katie! This card is really good, 3 magic damage with snipe ability is super scary as it also has blood lust which effectively make it grow easily.

Guild Final Tally

Of the 6 battles I battled, I have won 5 matches which included a surrendered match from opponent and lost one match. Another good run for this brawl. I am so glad that the match the I lost to, I have gained the winning factor card.

We are shy off the top 3 for ranking. Keep fighting and growing fellow PIZZA 2 members! Let's get back into top 3! Go PIZZA 2!

Thoughts about Splinterlands Journey
Recently I find it day to day fights is getting tougher with many having fully upgraded decks for Silver League and meeting crazy lineups such as Kron Llama and Yodins. With that, I will continue to work on improving my gameplay to fend off these lineups.

And this is one reason why I love Splinterlands so much. There is no stagnancy and we continue to grow and get stronger as we play.
