Social Media Challenge: Splinterlands Weekly + Brawl Report (Jun 25 - Jul 1)

Greetings everyone, EOS has just finished and it's time to check on the "harvest" to see how much CP we can get from the EOS chest. Once again, it's time to share how my account has grown and also on the latest brawl for PIZZA 2.

Let's start things off with how my collection power increased since the last update.

Delta to Silver 3: 0

Yes, this EOS has sufficiently brought me to true Silver 3. So glad to have made this milestone. With the change in the rewards system, Silver 3 is no longer enough. Need to continue to work on CP to reduce rent and to maximize daily focus point and system point earning. For subsequent week, we will put in Silver 2 as an interim milestone and target milestone at Silver 1.

Brawl Report
I am enjoying brawls because it really set my mind thinking how to set my team and how to predict what my opponent will field. Without further ado, let's look at the PIZZA 2 brawl that has just completed.

Life vs death. I have confidence in my backline artillery.

Outcome: Win. Sniping takes out everything important on my opponent side.

Miscalculation on my end. Antoid Platoon was meant to sustain but with magic attack on opponent, I don't stand a chance.

Outcome: Lost. As predicted, the magic attack tore my squad apart.

Putting up loads of melee on my end, not sure if it will work.

Outcome: Lost. Even when I have a gladius fielded, melee is somehow still Fire Splinter's forte.

Water vs Water. Opponent has a healer.

Outcome: Win! Nerissa lasting to the end!

I don't have a good feeling on this. Because I am facing the double opportunity which I often use. I should have used water splinter too.

Outcome: Lost. Should have chose a water lineup, lesson learnt.

There is another match with opponent fleeing.

Guild Final Tally

I managed to win 2, lost 3 but thankfully one fleeing opponent allowed me to be at 50% win rate for my fray. Will strike to be better next brawl!

This brawl, we came back up to position 2. Many fellow guild members did well and scored many wins. Let's continue the momentum and get better!

Thoughts about Splinterlands Journey
The new rewards system did change a little on the gameplay. In the past, when we just need to clear 3 or 5 games of the daily requirement and we are good for the day. But now, with the change, it actually encourage more game play which is something I like.
