Social Media Challenge: Splinterlands Weekly (Aug 18 - Aug 24) + PIZZA 2 Brawl Report

Greetings everyone, how is everybody doing this week? I shared that I restarted in bronze league and this moment in time, I am still working on the climb because bronze league standard is also getting higher. To get consecutive wins to uplift to the next league is not as easy as before. Today's post will also include account growth and brawl report for PIZZA 2.

With Card Power (CP) requirements abolished, I will just share the cards that I get throughout the week from chest.

No packs opened. We are back to accumulating before opening, currently at 6.

Summary
Not bad in terms of card obtained, though SPS side a little compromised. I think staying in bronze somehow helped to build up the Soul Bound card base which is not a bad idea. Was a little busy in the week so I ended up playing some matches more than diving into the market in search of the cards I need to further level up my water and death decks.

Playing in bronze indeed hurt in the SPS growth. Might need to push a little harder to get things moving and keep the SPS growth more consistent.

Time for some brawl action! Let's take a look look at the matches I played this brawl. As usual, I am anchoring Fray 3 for my guild which is the Novice Chaos Legion Fray, so cards will be at lowest form without additional levelled up stats/abilities.

Selection:	Martyr with heal setup to help last through
Outcome:	Win! Strategy went out as planned.

Selection:	In this particular battle, I opted for a single Gladius Quora in view of being able to have 2 additional mana without using Conscript summoner, but my opponent did otherwise and fieded 2 Gladius.
Outcome:	Lost. Seems like the double was a better idea even at the expense of 2 additional mana

Selection:	After previous round of losing to a double Gladius, I quickly applied and use it on my end.
Outcome:	Win! Now I understand why my previous opponent opted for dual gladius

	Remarks
Selection:	Very similar lineup picked by me and my opponent, with taunt, protect etc embedded, but choice of Gladius is different, I had my trust Quora in it.
Outcome:	Win! Quora is very important in brawl and won me so many brawls.

Guild Final Tally

I am assigned 5 matches this brawl and I've won 4 (including 1 fled) and lost 1. Amazing this is after losing one match, I immediately used the strategy that I lost to in the next match and brought me victory.

Alritey, we squeezed back into the podium. Thank you all fellow guild members for working hard to achieve this! While it is not yet rank 1, I am thankful. Let's continue to better ourselves and get higher in rank. Go PIZZA 2!

Thoughts about Splinterlands Journey
An amazing one thus far. I am still tinkering how to manage my league progress to better my SPS growth and also need to find time to watch the market to obtain the cards I need to further level up my existing collection. Great thus far and I hope yours was good too!
