Social Media Challenge: Splinterlands Weekly (Oct 6 - Oct 12) + PIZZA 2 Brawl Report

Greetings everyone, how has the week gone for you? I hope it went well, we are leading up towards a season end in a couple of days, wishing the best in season chest for all of you in advance. Today's post will also include account growth and brawl report for PIZZA 2.

With Card Power (CP) requirements abolished, I will just share the cards that I get throughout the week from chest.

Summary
Alas after a long drought, a legendary has appeared in the form of Aves Sturgis. Interesting card with weapons training, an ability that I have yet to explore and understand how to synergize it in a lineup. Let's hope there will be more in end of season chest.

Brawl Report
Time for some brawl action! Let's take a look look at the matches I played this brawl. As usual, I am anchoring Fray 3 for my guild which is the Novice Chaos Legion Fray, so cards will be at lowest form without additional levelled up stats/abilities.

	Remarks
Selection:	Silenced summoner, I still went with my trusty Quora setup with Queen Mycelia giving extra armour and 2 martyr.
Outcome:	Win. Against Death without Thaddius magic debuff is actually good.

	Remarks
Selection:	Rare occassion that I am using Skagore. This gives fury to the whole squad and makes cards scary if they survive hits and is on lowered HP.
Outcome:	Win. I would say it is a lucky win as I wasn't too familiar with Skagore to be honest. But seeing how it enhances the team, I was glad I picked Skagore.

	Remarks
Selection:	Divine Shield match, so I fielded some fast attackers and added extra protection from Ravenhood Warden.
Outcome:	Lose. I was totally amazed by Drybone Barbarian, when in rage mode it is really scary, something for me to consider using more often.

	Remarks
Selection:	Talking about learning, I immediately pick up from my previous match and put Drybone Barbarian right in front with Iziar taunting from the back.
Outcome:	Win. Awesome front and back support to rip apart my opponent.

	Remarks
Selection:	Trapp Falloway, a card that I recently gotten whom I think with the speed stats it has can be an awesome tank in Little League ruleset so that as it kills, it grows.
Outcome:	Win. Even beyond my expectation, the match ended in just 1 turn.

	Remarks
Selection:	There is equalizer ruleset in this match, hence instead of choosing Quora, I picked Katrelba because it is lower mana cost and have double strike
Outcome:	Win. Katrelba wrecks everything and secured the win.

	Remarks
Selection:	Are you not entertained ruleset, so let's entertain and pick 2 Gladius, so I picked Quora and Katrelba
Outcome:	Win. This two Gladius cards are no easy opponents to face, they pick out everything in their path.

	Remarks
Selection:	Earthquake match, I added protection, a flying Raa anad multiple fast attackers to wind down opponent health so that earthquake can weaken them further.
Outcome:	Win. My cards outlasted my opponent and should be able to even hold up more than 1 more turn in earthquake setting.

	Remarks
Selection:	Even mana cards with silenced summoner and back to basics, so bring out the big guns with good stats
Outcome:	Win. Had all I need and secured the win.

Guild Final Tally

I am assigned 9 matches this brawl and I've managed to win 8 of them but lost 1. The most amazing thing that happened was that I learned from my loss and immediately used what I lost to in the next match which got me a win.

We didn't do too well in this particular brawl but this was 1 brawl before the latest and in the latest, we secured top position once again. Fellow PIZZA 2 brawlers, you guys rock! Go PIZZA 2!

Thoughts about Splinterlands Journey
Learn and apply, this was the key thing that happened in the brawl. While it is amazing to win brawls, brawls are actually one of the best learning grounds for us to improve ourselves.
