Social Media Challenge: Splinterlands Weekly (Sep 1- Sep 7) + PIZZA 2 Brawl Report

Greetings everyone, how is everybody doing this week? Right now I am still fighting within bronze league to fortify and prepare myself before transiting into Silver League where I will meet crazier opponents with max silver cards. Today's post will also include account growth and brawl report for PIZZA 2.

With Card Power (CP) requirements abolished, I will just share the cards that I get throughout the week from chest.

Summary
Many bronze focus chest this week with a good mix of potion, cards and SPS. No complains but I believe I need to strengthen my arsenal sufficiently before going up into Silver for better chest rewards. On the Gladius pack opening, also getting good cards especially like Trapp Falloway which I have been wanting to get on top of the GF Chimney Wallstop.

Slow and steady in the SPS growth. Not forgetting that as we stake more SPS, there will be more SPS gained. Consistently participating in Brawl is also important as it gives a substantial amount of SPS.

Time for some brawl action! Let's take a look look at the matches I played this brawl. As usual, I am anchoring Fray 3 for my guild which is the Novice Chaos Legion Fray, so cards will be at lowest form without additional levelled up stats/abilities.

	Remarks
Selection:	Took a little gamble to place heavy hitting cards instead of filling up the full fray
Outcome:	Win! Gamble paid off as opponent cards are easily gotten rid off.

	Remarks
Selection:	For this match, I opted for dual Gladius so as to be able to sustain the front and also smash the backline through sneak attack.
Outcome:	Win! While opponent summoner is something I don't like to face. The strategy deployed helped to secure the win.

	Remarks
Selection:	Quora with 2 martyr to enable Quora to grow big and clear opponent lines. With the knowing of blast, I was sure both martyr cards will get taken out.
Outcome:	Win! One of my favourite strategy and it worked well.

	Remarks
Selection:	Maryr was the choice with Isgald Vorst to strike from backline.
Outcome:	Win! Oshannus took the front, Isgald took the back and take out everything else.

	Remarks
Selection:	Noxious fumes, I choose quick battle with Katrelba supporting Quora.
Outcome:	Lose. While I had intent to attack fast, it didn't happen and I get killed by poison and thorns from Cursed Windeku.

	Remarks
Selection:	Because of being able to attac from all positions, I took a more melee based lineup with some magic to add dimension.
Outcome:	Win! The mix worked well with melee cards clearing the lineup supported by magic attackers.

	Remarks
Selection:	Lock and loaded, I fielded all my heaviest hitter for water lineup so as to be knock off cards quickly.
Outcome:	Win! My high damage lineup quickly did work to settle all of my opponent cards together with my double martyr combo.

	Remarks
Selection:	Double Gladius, Chimney to reach and Orella to sneak. Added in Ferox Defender for protect and Disintegrator to reduce opponent melee attack.
Outcome:	Win! Full suite attack with protection worked and helped secure victory.

Guild Final Tally

I am assigned 8 matches this brawl and I've won 7 of them but lost 1. One point lesson learnt for Noxious Fumes, Quora when being aimed at is not enough to survive.

We have did sufficiently well for the brawl but we are still lacking in number of wins which is due to lack of people participating. If you are keen, do join us. And to the rest of the guild, keep growing and going! Go PIZZA 2!

Thoughts about Splinterlands Journey
Bronze has been rather decent for me to get used to momentum and gather more soul bound cards to level up. Subsequently, I have also bought more normal cards to slowly prepare for Silver league. Threading into silver league underlevelled is very dangerous and will result in often losing streaks.

Call to Action
Splinterlands is a game that made me change my whole perspective of mobile gaming. The community and non-fixed gameplay is what attracts me and I believe will be something you wish to experience.
