Social Media Challenge: Splinterlands Weekly (Sep 16- Sep 22) + Brawl Report

Greetings everyone, hope that the week went well for you as it did for me. Work is busy, but definitely a fruitful week had passed with loads of work being cleared. Time to share how the week had went for my Splinterlands journey and also to share on the latest brawl for PIZZA 2.

Let's start things off with how my collection power increased since the last update.

My CP increased by 100. I am not sure if this will be my growth per week on a non EOS week. Need to hope for more card drops vs potion drops.

From the way it looks, purchasing cards or opening packs to gain CP is unavoidable. Need to plan my buys to strengthen my deck and at the same time bring up my CP.

Coming from a high from 2 back to back Rank 1 finish in the last 2 brawl, I will be sharing how things went in the current Brawl.

With the low mana and without my trust Djinn Oshannus, I gave Alva a try.

Outcome: Win! Alva smash and grow, securing the win.

Interesting, my opponent put Releanor at first position. Not sure how good it is .

Outcome: Lost. I lost because of a matter of whose Nerissa strike first. My opponent struck first and I lost.

I looked at my opponent lineup, he really picked one of the better option for fire. Let's see if I am able to quench the fire.

Outcome: Win! Releanor doing his job, sneaking up and growing faster than Chimney.

Very similar lineup to previous match. Let's see if we can continue the win streak

Outcome: Win! Speed was key in this round to take out opponent faster before they touch me.

Sigh... I see my nemesis. Need Forgotten One to do some magic.

Outcome: Win! Yessa! First ever win against Quora! Timing was just right to lay the finishing blow.

Mirror match, but difference in sequence .

Outcome: Win! Because ruleset is noxious fumes, opponent's torrent fiend just get killed without me touching it while my own shed down 1 armour from my opponent.

Guild Final Tally

I am given 8 matches for this brawl, of which I won 5, lost 1 and 2 opponent fled. I am glad with how I fought this brawl and also amazed with the strategy employed by my opponent in the match that I lost.

My goodness, we dropped to rank 5. In this brawl, the top is separated by a mere 1-2 wins amongst the guilds. We might have ended up at rank 5, but I am sure, all of us have improved out gameplay. Let's come back stronger in the next brawl. Go PIZZA 2!

Thoughts about Splinterlands Journey
Splinterlands Tower Defence and Riftwings have been announced and also had a pre-sale. More fun awaits us. I am excited by all the new things announced why trying to improve my gameplay and growing my CP.
