I decided to split this post in two because it was already too big and I hadn't even reached half of the cards I was going to talk about, I hope you understand, and when I post part 2, I'll put the link here so you can read. Thank you for understanding.

Today I was exploring the PeakMonsters features looking for cards to buy that would have some use in the game journey over the seasons, or that would be cost-effective both in terms of DEC per POWER and for long-term appreciation.

I was at 93,015 Power which was a little short to reach Gold III, but I didn't want to rent just to finish this season in a better league (but I probably will), I also wanted to buy cards so I wouldn't have to pay the rent give cards for a long time.

Renting is indeed a good tool and a great strategy, but I like to buy cards too, the sense of belonging and the belief in long-term appreciation is something that appeals to me.

So when going to the PeakMonsters purchase option I changed the Grid look to Compare and selected the Best CP/Cost Ratio option, and started to buy the ones that were above 1 USD ~ 400,000 CP.

In total I spent $4,243 and acquired 52 new cards for my collection. From common, epic, to golden.

I'll put a list of the ones I bought and which ones I intend to use or just leave it for another time.

After the purchase I reached 94,755 Power, that is, I still need 5,245 Power to reach Gold III. It won't be this season because there are only 2 days left, but at the latest next month I believe I can do it.

Now for the cards:

Naga Assassin

Quantity: 7 units
Rarity: Rare
Current price: $0.048

Despite being a card with an ability that I like, Swiftness, it only acquired at level 8, which is far from a situation that I will reach at least in the short term. However, because it's a Dragon Deck card, I believe that in a battle situation where Ranged cards can act in the first position and have the rule of only being able to use cards with 4 or less mana, it would be a situation where I could use it .

That way, at the moment it will just be a card that will serve to increase my collection and not to use it routinely.

Venari Bonesmith

Quantity: 9 units
Rarity: Rare
Current price: $0.046

Like Naga, I believe Venari Bonesmith would be better suited in situations that only allow cards with 4 or less mana. With the Life Leech skill, if you are well positioned you can accumulate a considerable amount of life to get to position 1 with a certain resistance to survive a few rounds.

Also in situations where being able to play only with even numbered cards it does a good job too, because it may not be the best card in the Death Deck, but it does have its value and can make a difference in some games because its attack is magical , that is, hit directly on the opponent's life.

Venari Wavesmith

Quantity: 7 units
Rarity: Rare
Current price: $0.045

Its Protect ability is a great help to fight melee heroes, even more so because it's from the Water Deck and with that your allies have magic damage, literally making a temporary protection for your team to come strongly attacking the opponent's life directly.

In situations where I can't use Legendary cards I usually use Venari Wavesmith because my Summoner is Alric Stormbringer, who adds +1 magic damage, thus making Venari not only a support but also a semi-attacker so to speak.

It's a card that I hope to accumulate more units, because Water is the Deck I like to play the most.

Pelacor Deceiver

Quantity: 1 unit
Rarity: Common
Current price: $0.013

I see this card as a kind of Tanker because of its high health and Flying, but with effectiveness only from level 6 onwards, as it gains the Backfire skill that ends up making it a strong card in both offense and defense.

Its attack increases to 2 which is not the best for a level 6 card, but with the possibility that the opponent misses the attack because it is a card that flies with a speed of 4, the chance to activate Backfire and cause more 2 damage on the opponent thus making it not lose any life and dealing 4 damage, starts to make us think about when to use it.

As I'm not used to playing with Death Deck and I have others with a better effectiveness for the position, such as Phantasm, which is a card that has been circulating as a reward and is now only available on the market.

Gargoya Lion

Quantity: 5 unit
Rarity: Common
Current price: $0.013

Quantity: 4 unit
Rarity: Common
Current price: $0.345

I put the arts from both Regular and Gold because I bought both versions.

Gargoya Lion is a card that I don't see myself using at the moment due to the fact that I have better ones in the same position with the same characteristic and because of the close mana cost, but it is a card that I decided to accumulate. I see it having its function from level 9, because of the Enrage skill, but it's something that for me is far from a reality.

I like to use cards that have the Flying ability and that's why I'm always accumulating cards like the Gargoya Lion, especially because of its low price.
