My worst journey so far

Hello guys and Happy Easter to you all. I have had bad journeys, like being in a traffic for hours on a spot only to get to the end of the traffic and not see the cause of the traffic.
I am a teacher and school has vacated, my husband decided that we should travel for the Easter break as it's been long we came to see my mother in law.

School vacated on Thursday and we used Friday as preparation and left on Saturday morning. Packing was really something else cos it's short notice, while packing the bags I kept telling my husband I don't want such short time packing that by the time I am done, I will forget somethings which actually happened, I forgot to take my baby's cotton wool that I use to clean his mouth, I forgot some of his clothes and mine, even he (my husband) forgot his bathing slippers.

In Saturday morning I woke up around 4am to wash the dirty plates and tidy up before leaving, around 5,i woke my children up to bath and prepare. We left the house around after 6am, as we were about going a neighbor of mine who was going to church gave us a lift to the garage which really helped us because it wasn't going to be easy to move our load with the children on bike.

Journey to ijebu ode
We took a cab to ore then from there we took a car to ijebu ode where we will take car or bus to Ibadan.
In our way after about 20 to 25 minutes drive, the car came to a sudden stop. The driver checked and said the belt has spoilt that he has to replace it and to so that he has to go back to ore to get what he will use and also get a mechanic to fix it.

We waited to an hour and the man was no where to be seen, I was so upset because from ore to ijebu ode is 1 hour drive and we have spent almost an hour plus waiting for the driver to come back. To worsen the situation, the place the car stopped was covered in bush and no network service so we couldn't even receive call or make call.

The driver finally arrived with the mechanic and fixed the car, I was relieved because we will continue our journey. After the car was fixed we continued our journey and after about 10 minutes or there about, one of the passengers said she kept her nysc picture at the top of the car. I was really annoyed because the driver had to go back to help her get her pictures, I told the lady that she should thank God for the type of driver that was driving and the passengers because it's not all drivers that will agree to go back. I was really annoyed and asked the woman why she didn't just leave the picture on the car seat instead of taking the along with her when she went out. We finally got to ijebu ode and I thanked God that at least phase 1 of our journey was over moving over to phase 2 which was from ijebu ode to ibadan.

When we got to Ijebu ode, the driver was really annoying and at a point he asked us to come down and take the next bus. Some people talked to him and he allowed us and some other passengers back into the bus, I think he was annoyed because one of the passengers that dropped with us took her bags and left to somewhere she could get transport at lesser price. We finally got to ibadan around to 3 and got to our destination around to 4. I was really tired, so the children and I bathed, ate and went to bed later. I couldn't even do anything not to talk of gist with my mother in law, she kept trying to bring up a conversation but I was really tired, so I just answered any questions she asked.
