Ink drawing of Rexxie / splinterlands art contest 274

Happy new Year friends, I'm excited and positive about the new year and i know something better would come our way. I hope you all have fun and enjoyed the holidays. This weeks splinterlands art contest my entry would be based on the character Rexxie. Rexxie is a T.rex (Tyrannosaurus rex) , they and big strong and very intelligent dinosaurs. Watch the movie Jurassic park or jurassic Park and you would under why i said they are interesting.

Rexxies are the fiercest and most dangerous of the Dinosaurs inhabiting Anumün’s Grasslands of Primordia. They go wherever they please and eat whatever they can get their mouths around. The Spirit of the Forest is especially fond of these massive beasts.

• Green, pink Red and black pen
• 2B Pencil
• Eraser
• A4 paper

With this materials i was able to come up with this drawing which was quite amazing, i used the cross hatching technique for the shading technique of the image I'm not so familiar with it still improving though. First of all i made the line art of the rex as light as i could then i used my black pen in other to make it bold which worked out just fine. I used the black pen to shade the dark spot where necessary before adding other colours.
